Had some lovely drinks before my honeymoon and honestly received the warmest friendliest service from Babou, Saheed & Selenge! Babou kindly took a little picture for us too for our honeymoon. Such a wonderful team making us smile and laugh 😊 thank you!

Mullichain Cafe

11/11/2024: Nice place near the river. It’s at the border of Carlow and Kilkenny county. Place is around 35-40 min drive from Carlow town. They had lots of vegetarian options and taste was nice. Staff were nice and experienced. Portions was also nice enough and price was also not too bad.

Nevin's Newfield Inn

02/01/2025: Stopped here on the way back from Achill (about 30 mins from Keel) and would 100% recommend. The food was fantastic. We got lasagna and the turkey&ham. All were excellent and delicious. Desserts of lemon meringue and fudge brownie were also class. Proper mugs for tea too! The waiters were brilliant - always checking in, so friendly and lovely. They make the place special. The only thing that was disappointing was that the hot chocolate - it just wasn't hot. Definitely stop here if you're in the area. 💯
28/12/2024: Excellent seafood. Lovely lounge and dining room. Very attentive staff and plenty of parking.
