Dublin Barista School in Dublin

I've just recently finished my 3 day course at DBS and honestly found it to be a wonderful experience. The whole place was really incitful to the whole barista experience and was great fun along side that. However my main selling point and the thing I would like to praise most are the teachers/mentors of Ana and Vinny. These 2 really made the experience worth it. Vinny was a great first day teacher with there more layer back approach, really helping us settle in to the whole place, and Ana was a amazing teacher for yhe rest of the course. She really pushed us to be better while still being really nice about everything, even the mistakes. If you don't have any work experience I would highly suggest doing the 3 day course.

Kemal was a wonderful trainer from beginning to end. He was very patient and provided a great level of detailed information and instruction. He also made it very fun and easy to understand by way of analogies. Would highly recommend this 1 day course for those who are interested in barista training or those who just want to do so for fun / upskilling - thank you Kemal :)

I had a fantastic experience doing the 7-hour intensive barista course here! It was an intense but incredibly rewarding day. My instructor was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable, making sure we had plenty of hands-on practice. ​Even though it was a one-day course, I walked away feeling so much more confident and ready to start my journey as a barista. I just wanted to thank you all for the course on June 22nd. It was an incredible day intense, hands-on and very well delivered. In just one day, our instructor managed to share knowledge in such a clear and inspiring way, and that made all the difference. I left not only with new techniques, but with a whole new way of looking at coffee. I also want to thank you for your patience with my English I'm still improving, but I always felt understood and welcomed. That made the experience even more special. Tutor: Ana Good environment to learn and practice what is expected in terms of drinks and hygiene as a barrista. Staff were extremely patient; even when I made a mistake numerous times there was no abuse or frustration but rather just a reminder of what to do. The course however despite giving you a massive boost in knowledge, could be a bit longer(a 5 day option alongside the 3 day option) to go more in depth rather than only the fundamentals which may prove problematic in coffee branches with exclusive and harder to make drinks.

Tomasz was a fantastic teacher , we thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish 👏

Attended the Baristas Essentials 1 Day Course and our educator is Tomasz. He is funny and knowledgeable. Learnt a lot from him and he was really patient when it comes to teaching us how to do latter art (I think this is the most difficult part of the course). Definitely consider attending this school if you’re considering to be a barista or just for fun!

I did a Barista Essentials 1 day course and I only have to thank Mike for the fantastic class he provided. His explanation was clear and precise, the content presented was exactly what was described and he was very kind during the entire course. He gave us tips and showed us his way of being a barista, which was valuable for everyone. In the end of the day I was able to prepare my own latte with an art, thanks to the encouragement I received. Honestly a great experience and I'm very satisfied with the results.
