Dublin Pizza Company in Dublin

I don’t know if I was just incredibly hungry but I swear that was one of the best Pizzas I’ve ever had in my life. Yes I’ve been to Italy before but goddamn. Amazing Also just a terribly nice guy working there!

The pizza here is always delicious — we buy it every time we visit Dublin. The staff are usually friendly and professional. However, on July 16th at around 3:15 PM, we had a very unpleasant experience with one of the chefs. When we arrived, he was not at his station — we waited for about 10 minutes. He may have stepped away to use the restroom, which is understandable, but what happened next was odd. While preparing the Montanara, he didn’t add ricotta. Only after we pointed it out did he start looking for it in the fridge, and then went to a neighboring building to get it. It felt like he knew he had run out but simply didn’t want to go get more right away. He added very little ricotta and in a messy way — we order this pizza often, so we know how it’s supposed to look. The most unpleasant part was during payment: we paid by card, and the chef, without asking us, pressed the option to add 20% tips after we had tapped our card. We only noticed this in the evening. This incident left us with a very negative impression of this staff member. If I happen to come during his shift again, I won’t be buying pizza, even though I really like the place and the food itself. Ps: I just saw this staff member in a Google review video and am attaching a screenshot.

Delicious food, friendly staff, but there’s really no place to sit so be sure you’re ready to take it away. I stopped in after seeing a show and there was no one else in line so I was served right away. The pizza was fresh and very tasty. They have two sizes, and the smaller one would’ve been enough for being only small-medium hungry, but it made for good leftovers the next day!

We ordered 2 pizzas and a side for collection. They offer 2 vegan pizzas and my partner got one with roasted aubergines which he really liked. The crust was super nice, pizzas are made fresh and all the toppings were high quality. It was easy to order online and the collection time was updated via email so we didn't turn up early and have to wait around. We received the incorrect side unfortunately and only saw it when we got home. I emailed the restaurant and they promptly responded and refunded the amount for the side dish. Mistakes happen of course so based on this superb customer service, the quality of the food we received and ease of ordering they deserve a 5 star review and I would definitely come back 😊.

My friend says (disclaimer: she has not been to italy) it was the best pizza she ever had PS: it appears to be run by italians, so that’s close enough PPS: she wanted to mention it was the 4 cheeses one she got and she never thought she would like blue cheese on pizza but plot twist, she did
