Tl;Dr dance classes are good. Administration is lacking. Location changes to outdoors sometimes because the school fails to book a location I attended the beginners classes for multiple dance styles in the school. First of all, I think the classes are quite good. The teachers are attentive and there's always a chance to record the routines/movements taught at the end of the class. Huge help when practising. So 5/5 there However, the administration is severely lacking. The first week I signed up the class on my chosen day was cancelled. I only discovered this when I arrived at the venue and was informed by staff of the harbourmaster that it wasn't on. I did ultimately receive a refund for the missing week, but be careful when signing up on the day because you might find the class is cancelled on that day. The dance school won't mention this on their website or any public facing pages that I'm aware of In addition to this, sometimes the dance school will fail to book a venue. In this case either the class is cancelled for that day or they move it outdoors to Grand Canal Square. If it rains that day? Cancelled. If you maybe don't want to dance so publicly? Come a different day, if there's one available. If a class is cancelled there's no attempt to make up that class, and the possible change of venue isn't mentioned on the website or when signing up for the class. I attended for 8 weeks and the day I found most convenient to go had classes cancelled or moved 3 out of those 8 weeks. Maybe I picked a particularly turbulent time, but I'm very surprised this isn't mentioned in any other reviews. If you're flexible on days or don't mind having an dancing outside then this is unlikely to be much of a problem for you. If, like me, you'd prefer an indoor venue or don't always have that flexibility then this is pretty important information to know

Myself and my husband are total beginners and we felt immediately at ease with Abel and Naomi. Abel explains everything very clearly with humour and patience. We enjoyed our lesson very much.

The only place in Dublin where the sun always shines and it's never cold. The positive energy of this place can definitely be seen from space. The teachers are amazing, you have no idea how quickly you'll be able to dance more than just the basic step. I've just started a bachata course, and I know for sure that this style won't be the end of my journey with Dublin Salsa Academy.

Tani

04/06/2025: Delicious food in a cozy place, the service was incredible as well — super quick and the server was a sweetheart. Will definitely be back!

National Museum Cafe

09/08/2025: Very nice and well-kept free museum
09/08/2025: A museum well worth visiting. The museum is free, and you don't need a free ticket; you just walk right in. In addition to historical facts and artifacts from Ireland (from various periods, such as the Bronze Age and others), there are also some things about Egypt and the Vikings in Ireland. It consists of two floors with several rooms. In one of them, there are even, so-called, mummified corpses (I don't know if they're actually mummified, but they look very similar). They're behind walls that you have to enter, and I understand that the corpses thing might not be suitable for everyone. The visit can be very long, and that's because it's very comprehensive. Except in one of the rooms (where you can't), you can take photos without flash. It's a shame that some people ignore the rules (the rules are in place to prevent damage to what's on display). And in the shop, if you look carefully, you can get things at good prices. I bought two postcards, and two books, one about the history of Ireland, and another about traditional fairy tales.
