Oliveto in Dublin

Good food, very good service, lovely restaurant.

Staff were exceptional and the food was out of this world. I highly recommend the Oliveto at the Haddington.

The ambiance is very decent and porsh looking , the waiter was very nice to us . We went for a dinner date . The cocktails are mostly the best , the starters were very scrumptious. Overall loved the place , very good for date night recommendation

Beautiful food and ambience and have eaten here many times. Our order of 5 was wrong tonight and one of our party was left without a main course . The offering was a pasta dish or to cook the dish that was ordered which would be another 20 minutes. We opted neither and to share with one of the other party in our group. We ordered wine, drinks dessert and our bill came and we paid with the 10% included tip and more. I mentioned to the manager I really thought was disappointing that we had to share a main and that there should have been a dessert or something for the inconvenience of being with our party and one not eating a meal. I was told I was offered pasta or could wait for the dish to be cooked . I was then told I could speak to the director which I didn’t feel necessary and said I would call on Tuesday after the weekend ( who was so apologetic) but the manager did and he was quite forceful and rude to all of us .Really awful end to a lovely evening and one of our guests so disappointed but yet we paid above and beyond. Very disappointing

Food & service excellent. Just one con, on a busy night the restaurant is very noisey, only possible to converse with the person sitting next to you ! This is a pity as both the Hotel & restaurant are very nice with lovely views of the sea & pier. All in my party found the noise level uncomfortable. Perhaps they will find a way to absorb some of the sound.

Positive: + High quality, fresh and delicious starters and mains. Taste amazing! Incredible rich but not overwhelming seasoning. The fish chef and all kitchen staff responsible for starters are excellent in what they do. Much appreciated. + Attention to details on how starters and mains are served. Very pleasing for a tongue and an eye. Plate decorations are worth looking at before enjoying tasteful meals. + Just the right amount of selection of dishes, in perfect order and number, not too many and all well combine to reach for various tastes and needs. + High-quality, rich and strong coffee. Served well. + Great selection and variety of drinks. + Vegan/Vegetarian option available. + Well done to Oliveto to think about our environment as there is a minimum of plastic. However, could be better. Meaning zero. + Warm welcoming. + High-quality, top class, polite, well-mannered service from start to the end. + Pleasing interior design. Elegant but at the same time, relax, and comfy. + Open wooden Pizza oven, nice touch, feel and look. + A very nice touch with the white table cloth. Ironed to perfection. + Possibility of enjoying a table with a corner with a bit of pleasing sea-view. + Spotless and clean inside and outside, including renovated restrooms. + All staff very nice, friendly, smiley, polite, including Waiters, Barmen, Chef and Receptionists. + Great spot and location for a sea coast walk. + Free Parking at the stairs of the restaurant. Negative: - Dessert: Tiramisu - very plain, too sweet, full of sugar. Looks and tastes more like from super market. No attention and details on how it is served. - Lack of outdoor heaters. Overall I highly do recommend Oliveto for the taste of dishes, the entire quality of service, and the atmosphere are top class. Everything is fresh, taste delicious and is served very politely with high manners. Looking forward to returning soon. This restaurant is a gem. Gorgeous food and lovely service. Side dishes are particularly good.
