Delicious (rich) food in a delightful location not far from the spectacular Hook Head peninsula; served by polite and engaging staff. Not cheap; in fact expensive but well worth an indulgent break. To be thoroughly recommended. 4.5 out of 5

The Italian Kitchen

27/05/2025: The food is just average. I've been in Ireland for 10 days and decided to stay close to the airport on my final day. The hotel receptionist during check-in asked if I wanted a reservation at the Italian restaurant. I thought it had to be good. I am disappointed this will be my last meal in Ireland. I should have taken a taxi back in to the Temple Bar area. Ive had several amazing meals in that area. I can't believe a fancy place like The Italian Kitchen could not compare to any of those smaller restaurants. The Bruschetta was bland. The truffle dinner was bland.
