I stopped into this LGS while visiting Galway and I thought it was so cool! The aesthetic was nice, the worker was super friendly, and the place seems fun. I wish I had more time to stay and play games, but it was a pleasure visiting :)

Great atmosphere with a good selection of games. Friendly staff. The donuts are the real game changer. All of the puns, and 10x more inventive and tasty than your regular Krispie Kreme or Boston Donut.

Really nice place, great people working there. Great selection of board games to buy, and can get a donut, drink and two hours upstairs with the rented board games for only €7! Amazing value.

I came to Galway for a visit for a few nights. I was craving for donut, checked google map and i saw their store. The reception lady was sooooooo friendly, the donut was small and quite expensive for me. But i can say that it was delicious, very soft and not too sweet. Therefore, it's a good experience for me and will definitely recommend this to others.

Salthill Hotel

11/04/2025: Right in front of Ladies Beach and near the iconic diving board. An excellent location, especially for exploring Galway city and it's hinterland. Comfortable room, clean bright and airy. Quality of food excellent but disappointed no grilled tomatoes for breakfast. Good long swimming pool and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The adjoining quincentenial park is a gem. Would recommend it despite its current price per night.
09/04/2025: Beautiful hotel overlooking Galway Bay, situated on the prom ,and just a stroll away from cafes and bars ,would highly recommend it ,

15/05/2025: Excellent fish and chips, with a great selection of fish and reasonably priced! Very friendly staff. But I agree with the other reviews, the fries aren't great...
13/05/2025: Portions are huge, the fish is tasty but the chips are meh. Kitchen is always open, this makes McDonagh's a prime spot for a quick tasty bite.
