Excellent grocery store. Not the cheapest by any means but range of food stuffs is very good. The bread are very good too. The wine sale is very good in the larger stores with decent discounts.

It's Waitrose, M&S and John Lewis all rolled into one. There is no better compliment than that.

Town Hall

18/08/2026: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Townhall, and it was a true gastronomic celebration! We ordered stuffed chicken, beef steak, seafood cocktail, and chocolate mousse — every dish looked like a work of art, so exquisite and prepared with love! And the taste exceeded all expectations — incredibly, incredibly delicious. A special thank you to our waitress Natalia for her attentiveness and professionalism. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. Thank you for making our evening so special! We recommend it with all our hearts!
10/08/2026: Fantastic food, friendly and good humoured staff, professional and helpful, the history of this wonderful building is an added extra to a peaceful and relaxing break from a busy day and a busy Town centre.
