Myself and my son went in after the Ireland rugby match, got to say the wings,burgers and chips were amazing. The shakes were mind blowing, all the food was so fresh and the service was excellent too.

Shanahan's on The Green

26/11/2024: It's been a while, but I've been there four times and each time it's been an experience. Steaks fantastic, side dishes or wines simply fantastic. You definitely pay for the service and the ambience. During my visits there were muffins filled with cheese and butter first. Guys, I've never eaten anything like that before or since. And before that, a nice gin and tonic in the cellar. Simply worth the trip.
22/10/2024: Still one of my all time favourites. This place delivers consistently good food and the staff are great. Any time I've been there it has been busy. Bar downstairs is staffed by real bar men who know their trade. John often says makes his way around the tables at the weekend too which is a nice touch. A must for a treat in my opinion.
