Eden House in Dublin

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions. Hospitable host, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and amazing brunch menu. I would definitely recommend to everyone. I would like to come back here again and again. Staff is super amazing, especially barman Joe who always has a smile on his face and flips a few jokes around, in one word-happy man. They know what are they doing and what are they talking about, and you can tell making the customer happy is their main priority. Thank you Eden over and over again. See you soon.

Excellent carvery, good food good value. Busy but plenty of seating

Myself and my husband took a last minute trip to the Eden on Thursday for dinner and it exceeded expectations from start to finish. The staff were friendly and attentive, the pub itself felt cosy and warm and the food was absolutely gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

Small edit after comment from manager - agreed that not all staff were/are awful and I would like to return at some stage as noted, the food was great! Carvery is delicious but some of the staff encountered were awful! Booked a table for a group of 3 people for 12:45 on the 31st December. Unfortunately the first staff member I encountered was so incredibly rude I had to do a double take to make sure she actually did work there! Walked to the check in desk area and said hello to the dark haired woman standing there, and let her know about our booking. She completely ignored me and this is when I had to question if I’d just said hello to a customer rather than a staff member. About 1 minute later, she came to life and begrudgingly asked for my surname. I gave it to her and she led us to the worst positioned table in the whole pub! Sadly, this wasn’t the only grumpy/inept staff member we encountered. We ordered a drink and I think it went on a tour around the whole pub before it got to us! Tried flagging another woman staff member to let her know and she told us she’d forgotten who ordered it… The chefs on the carvery were lovely and the young man who was working the carvery til at first was very pleasant!

Upstairs in function room fantastic night and great you did not have to go through the lounge the only let down was the food platters everything else was great. Was back to the Eden before Christmas after a funeral we had soup and plates with very few sandwiches on each plate the cost of food was crazy and two tables that I know of were almost overcharged one by twenty euro and the other by ten euro for two drinks. It was very disappointing.

He estado yendo al Edén por más de 20 años y recientemente he estado decepcionado. Los precios han ido astronómicos Sé que es como todo en Irlanda, pero es demasiado caro ahora para justificar 25 € para la principal, porciones han ido más pequeñas también. 50 para un Prosecco es más que el centro de Londres. El servicio estaba bien, era Navidad, hubiera esperado un poco más de ánimo del personal, simplemente no puedo poner mi dedo en lo que es con el lugar, pero el ambiente es muy diferente. Es una verdadera lástima como dije que he estado yendo aquí durante algún tiempo.

Generous proportions in the carvery, very tasty, carvery open till 3.00pm then a la carte available from 3.15pm.

We were here last year for the Dermot Kennedy concert in Marlay park in June. It is a short walk to the park, service was good and the venue was well setup for a summer concert with a large outdoor area in the car park.

Extremely overpriced.. €7.50 for a bottle of corona. Absolute rip off!! My own local, about 10 mins away from The Eden is only €6. Friendly staff and nice pub, but would not be returning with those prices..
