Everest Express in Ennis

We’ve eaten here many times and will continue to come back. The food is delicious. We generally get the Nepalese thali but have a tried multiple different things. Food is delicious and service is excellent. The owner is always asking for feedback and genuinely interested in providing the best experience. We will be back.

Delicious food, lovely people and friendly atmosphere. Had good chats with Hira and he even played us some traditional Nepalese music (and the Kerry Polka!) on his sarangi during our meal. Best restaurant in Ennis! 10/10

Every member of staff in this restaurant is exceptionally friendly! My friends and I were serenaded by live Nepalese music during our dinner which was amazing. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food highly recommend if you're in the area.

I spent 6 weeks in Nepal, 3 of them in the Himalayas. It was where I first tried daal and thali. They immediately became a favourite food. I unfortunately haven’t had many opportunities to have it again in the last few years. So when we stumbled across Everest kitchen with Hirilal and his family making authentic and traditional Nepalese food, I was transported back. To say this whole experience was amazing is an understatement. The company with me, the food, live music from the sarangi, the singing, the warmth and the chats, made this one of my favourite nights in recent memory. One I will cherish for a long time. Please visit this place frequently if you can.

Authentic Asian food in downtown Ennis. Fresh, spicy, plentiful, and very tasty. A restaurant with a great atmosphere, served in a very welcoming, family-friendly environment. Affordable, good, and pleasant.

When looking for lunch, my son saw that Everest Kitchen was nearby and he wanted to introduce his dad, grandma, and me to the cuisine. The food was delicious and freshly made, the chai masala tea was wonderful, and the owner played some music for us as we ate. If we return to Ennis, this will definitely be a stop for a meal.

Went here with my boyfriend and got to experience the best of Nepalese hospitality and food. We ordered the complete vegetarian meal and momos. We were served eveything fresh and piping hot. Hira and all the staff were very kind and homely. 🙏🙌

Brilliant experience - delicious lamb curry and momos. Loved that the owner played traditional music while we ate. A real gem of a place.

My new favourite restaurant - I'm so glad I found this place! It's such a hidden gem in Ennis - down a little side street. The food is incredible - delicious, authentic and reasonably priced. The family who run the restaurant are so friendly, and always give every customer a warm welcome. They even play a few minutes of live music during your meal - traditional Nepalese tunes and even Irish Trad played on a Nepalese instrument. Magic!
