Everest Express in Ennis

Delicious vegetarian food, really fresh and lovely friendly staff who treated us to a live performance of traditional Nepalese music. Very reasonable prices. An absolute hidden gem

This was honestly the most delicious meal I have had in a long time and I now wish I had started going to Everest Kitchen sooner. The owners are the kindest people you will ever meet and they made us feel so welcome. We had the most amazing Nepalese food but we also noticed a lot of people popping in for their fish and chip takeaways too. Between the 2 of us we had 2 starters, 2 large breads, the sharing platter for 2 people, 2 glasses of wine and it all came to €35 each. There was so much food that we both got takeaway boxes and I'm sure this will taste delicious tomorrow. Without a doubt Everest Kitchen is going to be my restaurant AND takeaway of choice in Ennis from now on.

Authentic Nepalese food hiding behind the corner. Such a warm host and excellent food. Once we were served we were treated to traditional music. It was lovely!

Stumbled across this place on a quick stop through Ennis. Food was amazing, staff couldn't have been nicer, and portions were huge (especially for that price!). Had the chicken momo, lamb thupa, and lamb curry. All were great but the lamb curry really stood out.

A delightful, family-owned restaurant. Portion sizes were generous and food was fresh and delicious. The owner, Hari, was a delight to talk to, and treated us to a private Sarangi concert like many other reviewers. Our 10- and 14-year old were enchanted by the whole experience. We often have Indian food, but this was our first time trying Nepalese. The chicken Nepalese curry was delicious and came with delicious dal and other sides. We also enjoyed the samosas, which came with a fresh, delicious salad. My son ordered chips, and they were made fresh in the restaurant. A great meal and evening.

Stopped by Everest Kitchen after the St Patrick's Day parade - it was also my birthday - Hira was an amazing host and played me some music for my birthday! Food was delicious. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

After almost 6 months of stay in Ireland and having food in countless Indian and Nepalese restaurants all across Ireland, I can 100% say no other restaurant reminded me of home so much like Everest kitchen. Basic comfort food done right. From food to the people who work and own the place. Everything about this place reminds you of home. If you ever do come across it please do not miss it.

Don't pass it by or you'll miss a great experience. Fantastic dinner for 2 tonight. Food and entertainment was excellent. It was an experience we won't forget easily, for all the right reasons.

I had dinner at this place twice. The cuisine is nepalese and matches somewhat to Indian food but not same. I was seeking spicy vegetarian options and the chef did just right. The place was warm, with many vegetarian options, the dal is good. The owner is very friendly and always greets with smile and does very warm welcome everytime. One can bring and have outside wine but don't forget to order inhouse. Please confirm the prices if you plan to pay by card, cash is preferred.
