The best pint in Ireland! Incredible chowder. Crab sandwiches to dream about. And best of all the welcome is always so warm to our whole family, including the kids and our little dogs. There have been some changes over the 40 years I’ve been coming here but the feel that Teresa nurtured has never changed - it has always been a special place and I feel it always will be.
Was not expecting this to be such a great bar and location. Beer was fresh and clientele was a mixture of tourists and locals all enjoying the atmosphere. Location is fantastic but it needs a covered beer garden to get the best of the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Getting there is an interesting drive on small roads and parking was possible but it does not have many spaces. I would really enjoy being there during a storm and watching the Atlantic below with a pint of Guinness and some bar food. Well worth a visit for the atmosphere and the view.
Great pint at a great pub very close to R2D2 road! It’s a short drive or bike ride from Malin head and well worth the opportunity to visit Ireland’s Northernmost pub!
My lady and I went here as our last stop for our wild Atlantic way trip, it was the best Guinness we had in Ireland!
The best!
Great service
A pool table to play on, and great atmosphere, at a great spot too!
A quick stop at Farrens Bar. The food is good, the waiters are lovely, and a regular customer even gave up his table so we could eat.
The Irish are the best.
This was overall my favorite pub to get a bite to eat and a pint of Guinness for lunch. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. The patrons at the bar were all locals but engaged us in conversation as if we had been going there for years.
The vegetable soup was probably the best thing I had to eat the entire time I was in Ireland. The chicken wrap with the sweet and spicy Thai sauce was amazing.
The views in Malin Head are exceptional and it's well worth the trip to go for a walk around the top of Ireland
