Stopped here for lunch whilst touring on my motorbike , had the seafood chowder which was delicious and filling with homemade soda bread and loads of butter !
Yummyyyyyyy !
Stopped by after visiting Malin Head. The "northernmost pub in Ireland " drew us in but we loved this place. Polly ran the bar and served the entire bar with efficiency and a smile. The food was very good and just loved the atmosphere. A .must stop for any up in the area.
This was overall my favorite pub to get a bite to eat and a pint of Guinness for lunch. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. The patrons at the bar were all locals but engaged us in conversation as if we had been going there for years.
The vegetable soup was probably the best thing I had to eat the entire time I was in Ireland. The chicken wrap with the sweet and spicy Thai sauce was amazing.
The views in Malin Head are exceptional and it's well worth the trip to go for a walk around the top of Ireland
Called in to Farren's on the recommendation of a local lady we met walking at Malin Head. Did not disappoint - the food was amazing (can seriously recommend the "best of both" or the seafood chowder!). A seriously good pint of Guinness was delivered in no time, and the largest coffee and hot chocolate order they'd ever had set us all on the road again. Staff were really nice, the bar was cosy and we could have sat in beside that log burner all day. A really great find and will definitely be back!
