Feerick's Hotel Restaurant in Rathowen

This has to be the best hotel I’ve stayed in regarding the staff. Every single person without exception is the friendliest and most helpful I’ve come across. The food is absolutely amazing too, a particular shout out to Chef Liam who is outstanding. Look forward to my return.

priced themselves out of a breakfast from me, every few months they seam to increasing it, well, i won't be back again

Impromptu stop here for food didn’t disappoint . Met by lovely staff who were helpful and the menu was great and suited us as one of us only wanted a toasted sandwich - delicious - and the other a more substantial meal . The burger and chips chosen, was very yummy too with loads of chips ( shared) and the stacked burger included 2 onion rings ! Never stopped here before and will definitely do so again . Very good value, great service and very clean space with nice atmosphere and toilets were spotless . Ample parking as it is used by truckers ( with showering facilities available) . Never knew it was a hotel as well. All in all a really enjoyable quick stop and would highly recommend it for a food stop in route to or from the west of Ireland to Dublin .

Knew this place was excellent for food. Have stopped there before. So called in today and had full Irish breakfast. It was great value at €14, included tea and beautiful brown bread. Can highly recommend this place. There's more mushrooms hidden under the egg in the photograph ! 😊

My second week here,highly recommended accommodation and food. Tuesday 10th February I had braised steak, absolutely top quality wow best ever. The sticky toffee pudding very tasty. Rooms warm and cosy. Staff of the best you'll ever meet. Highly recommended. I'll be here for 2 nights a week for a while. Love it here. Michelin class meals of the highest standards. The mixed grill i had last week was lovely ,breakfast,lunch and dinner in one. The vegetable soup awesome. Knickerbocker glory was outstanding. Highly recommended hotel.

Stopped for dinner and dessert with a drink....€30.....food was great and getting seated and service was really quick even though it was busy....

We usually stop here as a mid way point between Dublin and Sligo, food always lovely. This trip we unexpectedly ended up staying as our car broke down. From the moment we stepped into Feericks, the staff went over and above. We were given a family room, clean, comfortable with all facilities needed for our short stay. Lovely atmosphere where we sat in restaurant with drinks/hot Chocolates, staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely,we ordered pancakes, full Irish with coffee and toast, before we set off for train which John kindly dropped us to train station as no taxis available, overall our whole experience was 5 stars, I'd give more if I could, they really turned a disaster situation into one of the nicest experiences and we were so grateful. Family of 4 (kids 5&6). We will definitely be back
