Feerick's Restaurant & Function Room at Longford Golf Club in Longford

Went here for a private party so didn't have the typical restaurant experience but it's a wonderful venue with decently attentive staff.

A very nice place for hosting an event. We had a group booking for 11 people, and overall, the food was nice. The beef carpaccio was my favourite, and the duck breast was particularly impressive. The main concern was the number of flies during our meal. We were dining indoors but were repeatedly bothered by flies. The staff mentioned that it was difficult to control as the restaurant has outdoor seating and a small garden area, but we still found it quite unacceptable from a hygiene and dining experience perspective. At the end of the meal, after our birthday cake was cut, we asked for the remaining cake to be portioned onto plates. While we were still eating and chatting, one staff member tried to take the untouched cake away, which I had to stop. That said, the rest of the staff provided good service and looked after us well throughout the meal. Overall, the food and service were good, but the fly issue and the handling of the remaining cake could have been better.

We held our wedding dinner celebration at Frederick’s. It was a great night with good food and much joy. Andreea has done a wonderful job with arranging everything perfectly for us. Our communication before the dinner was smooth. She considered every detail for us. Jason and Grace also did very well in the service for the night.

We’ve been dining at Frederick’s for about 30-years and they never disappoint. In the crazy years from 2010 until the pandemic we tried many other places which have since closed. The fact that Frederick’s has survived is testament to the quality of food, wine and service. A real gem which offers great value for money.

Such a lovely convivial evening, great vibe, relaxed but professional and very well prepared quality food and excellent wine. I would love to go again.

First time visiting but hopefully we will get to revisit. Early dinner, pre dinner cocktail sat at the bar. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Food was absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere that spanned family vibe to couples dining. To girls catch up drinks to a full blown wedding. Something for everyone. Vibrant and laid back. We had a table in the garden which was a lovely little haven. Sort walk for us getting off at Angel Tube Station. Great place to go before we went to Sadlers Wells. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had our wedding dinner in the summer of 2025, everything was outstanding. Andreea is a wonderful host, the food was 10/10 and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience. We came back for lunch on our wedding anniversary, and again, everything was top notch. Big thank you to Yousef and the rest of the team for looking after us! We will be back!

The Most Magnificent Wedding Reception Venue and Team! From the get-go, Laura was absolutely amazing. She handled all of our unconventional requests with the utmost consideration, and you could truly tell how much she wanted us to have the most magnificent day- and we did! All of our guests were completely enamored with the venue, the incredible food, the wonderful staff, and the overall atmosphere. From our drinks reception out in the garden to the wedding breakfast and hitting the dance floor, every single moment of the day was amazing. We already love coming here for dinner because it truly feels like a family and the best local spot to make you feel right at home, but having our wedding reception here made it even more special. We couldn't be happier with our choice and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Frederick's to anyone looking to host an unforgettable event!

We celebrated our wedding here last weekend and couldn't have been happier with everything. From the planning phase to the actual event, everything went smoothly. Andreea was always there to support us and make sure the day would be perfect. All of our guests enjoyed the food, and the service was great. I can only recommend Frederick's if you're looking for a great lunch location after your ceremony!

A lovely restaurant with great service and tasty food. This is one of those restaurants that doesn’t have plenty of choice on the food menu, but they have the stuff they make down to a tee. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavoured well. The portion sizes were also perfect. There is a large indoor and outdoor seating area which makes the atmosphere here also very nice. I hadn’t noticed this place before finding it, and I’d definitely say it is a hidden gem! Would recommend.
