Fantastic food with with excellent personable and attentive staff. Could not fault anything about my visit.

A great atmosphere here - a massive dining room with tables well spaced and flowers / greenery. I’d love to come in the summer and try their massive outdoor space. However a few braying diners managed to spoil the calm on this occasion. Scallop and chorizo starter was well executed as was the main of Joster? grilled Guinea breast on creamed lentils and cabbage. A great place to have a ‘grown up’ meal where you can chat with those eating with you and hear what they’re saying. Staff attentive

Great service, low key but every need was met, lovely food, a really nice selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes making the best of the ingredients. Topped with a strong wine selection.

I've photographed wedding receptions at Fredericks multiple times now, and have had such a brilliant time each time. The staff made sure to take care of me, they were polite and lovely. The space itself is a diamond option being so close to Islington Town Hall, as it's able to hold a high capacity of guests, something quite unusual for a restaurant in the Islington area. It's got brilliant light in the dining space, and a unique outdoor area which is useful for the drinks reception and speeches. It also is a rare bit of greenery for any couple or group photos you need. The food is brilliant, but that's a given!!

A great place for a drink at the bar slightly insulated from the hustle and bustle of Upper Street. Great art on the walls.

One of the best restaurants I have done in this area!! The staff is really helpful and the service in general is really good. The place is nice and has a nice atmosphere and more importantly the food is amazing!! I had the moule frites as a starter and as a French the moules were very tasty!! Then I had the duck that was beautiful but the only let down was the sauce that was not enough but overall I would definitely recommend this place!!
