This place is a gem. Fantastic premises and wonderful nourishing food. The staff are lovely and incredibly welcoming. Definitely worth a visit, only 15 minutes from Kilkenny City.

We were on the road and someone recommended this place. At first I wasn't expecting much but it turned out to be a hidden gem. Beautiful and calm place. The staff were super friendly and let my gf eat her own food because she had allergies. I ordered an avocado toast and loved it. The coffee and the dessert were superb. Aoife was super friendly.

If you value character, atmosphere & quality over brand, go out of your way to find Fennellys. Lovely coffee & lush lemon meringue pie and all by an open fire & warm service to match

I was walking with my freand and then I saw the most beautiful dog I went in and two more apeard then I got invited into the yard and I was happy then I turned into a swan then flew away

I love this place! The owner and the workers are very nice and welcoming, sometimes they even come over and have a conversation with you! I absolutely love the beautiful vibe its very warm and comfortable. I enjoy coming here in my free time with friends and ordering a cappuccino, they also play lovely music in the back. :)

30/03/2024: Bretts is my one stop shop for any and all my DIY needs. Bought a house a few years ago and have been slowly doing jobs here and there. The advice and service I've gotten from both the trade and paint counters is exceptional. Very friendly and engaged staff who want to help you and give you the best possible outcome for your project. The range and quality of the products is great with a mix of highest quality to budget friendly. I appreciate that I have never been spoken down to (as a woman) at the trade counter which often happens in trade supplies places and I get the same level of service and treatment as the tradesman beside me. I've gone to other places and it can be shocking the way women DIY'ers are treated. Cafe is lovely as well, with simple menu and fresh ingredients. Staff are great and cafe is always clean. Great place to meet for a coffee and a chat! Keep up the great work Bretts!
