A very popular place,
too crowded inside, loud, and hectic.
Quiet outside, but I wouldn't have wanted to eat inside; it was too crowded for my liking.
The food wasn't outstanding but adequate, more like a fast-food restaurant. The service was hectic and restless,
I just wanted to get my fill and leave.
When we first arrived at Ringaskiddy Deep Water Terminal, dock workers recommended here cuz it was within walking distance. The place is pleasant, friendly staff, excellent service and warm atmosphere. I also had the opportunity to have dinner the next day. The steak was delicious, and the brown sauce was tasty. Even though it was my first time in Ireland, I really enjoyed the opportunity to listen to live music. We watched some football and golf on TV ☺️ and tried a variety of local ciders. I had an opportunity to chat with the locals. It was a wonderful experience for us. Strongly recommended. I definitely suggest it to spend a relaxing time after a long sea voyage, chatting with kind and friendly people while you nearby your ship. Best Regards, Captain Emre.
18/09/2024: Good full Irish breakfast, very friendly service
09/09/2024: A good Irish welcome with lovely food and wonderful Irish hospitality.
We arrived for breakfast with our family and were promptly seated. The breakfast menu was varied as was the kids menu, be sure to check out the specials board.
Service was on point with smiles and banter from all three members of staff who we interacted with. All were attentive and made sure everything was ok. Table was also cleared up quickly so we didnt feel like once we had ordered that we were forgotton about as happens in other places.
Finally, it was lovely to see a small business with Irish staff. I have found so many businesses in Cork employing non-Irish staff and I feel that the warmth and humour that the Irish naturally have is missing in these venues.
I will definately be returning!
