Fifty50 in Ashbourne

I was so impressed with the team in Ashbourne, especially the manager he was so helpful, so attentive, and most importantly very friendly, there was 13 of us and we all could not fault them . Food was just delicious, very reasonable, waitress knew exactly the days specials. I’ll be back 5**** highly recommend Ashbourne 50/50L

Very nice place and delicious food

The food was fine. I asked for coke and they gave me flat sparkling water with cola syrup in it. When I asked the waitress to change it she did but gave me a bottle of coke instead. Must be a regular occurrence. My mother’s dish had two carrots and one broccoli on it and when the waitress asked was it ok she said theres not a lot of vegetables and could she get some more. The veg was brought out in a tiny dish and when the bill came they charged €6 for this. When we questioned this , the waitress snapped back and said ‘you have to ask me do we charge’. Ridiculous behaviour. If you are going to charge €6 for a dish of veg that would cost the restaurant nothing, the staff should have to inform the customer first. So much for the customer is always right , as the waitress wouldn’t accept any ownership and completely blamed my mother. Wouldn’t go back.

Drinks are brought out promptly after ordering. Order a start of brie with raspberry sauce however came out with garlic sauce instead so was lacking flavour. I got the Fifty50 burger it was nice. When it's a hot day this restaurant gets extremely hot inside which ruins the dinning experience in my opinion

Our Server Jodie was friendly, courteous and professional as all the staff were from start to finish. They even sang Happy Birthday for two of our guests. The food is excellent. We got the Early Bird, reasonable for a Starter, Main Course and Dessert. A range of dishes for all tastes are catered and we ordered from the children's menu for one of our party. Everyone was happy, relaxed atmosphere and our servers were quick to tend to our needs. Everything was done with efficiency and our table was cleared of food when required and we were left to enjoy our meal in peace. Highly recommend to all, thank you

Brilliant place really friendly staff lovely food

Had dinner this evening with my family and it was superb. The staff is very friendly, the servers are very professional, the food was amazing and very affordable prices. Very quick from order to serving too. Highly recommend. 👍

The service is extremely friendly and the food is decent by far the best in Ashbourne. Overall, a great experience

What a shame that such a lovely restaurant with excellent staff and lovely food have to make it so expensive to have a family meal. We are a family of 7 and as it is mainly young children we did not expect a service charge for the early bird meal ,nor did we expect to be charged for jugs of water. Not a great way to get customers to come back 😪
