Fishers fish&chip in Churchtown

Found this online looking for somewhere to eat near Putney Bridge. Fantastic! Some of the best fish & chips I’ve ever tasted. Freshly cooked and delicious. Love the quirky inside seating area as well. Just what we needed after a long day at the tennis! We’d definitely go again.

I have been wanting to try Fishers for a long time, I have always been told fish and chips only taste good on the coast, which I have always believed but I have to say since living in London this is the best fish and chips I have had and I will be coming here again, cooked fresh not oily and batter that is so crunchy, delicious.

Perfectly fried and crispy. The fish was mild and tender. Lots of yummy tartar and lemon. Nice neighborhood stop in and take away.

First food stop during our first ever visit to the UK. The Chesapeake Bay area of the US has access to great seafood and we do an okay fish and chips, but at Fisher’s I ordered the traditional haddock fish and chips and it is by far the best I’ve ever had. Service was friendly and attentive. Cozy little spot that I would highly recommend!
