Friendly staff and the service and food was good.

Set nice hotel bar and restaurant. Lots of people from surrounding areas come. Great food that comes out quick and good selection of beer. Live music from 8:30pm

We stopped here after a trip to Cliffs of Moher. My husband got the fish and chips. It comes with a Thai inspired sauce that is very delicious. I got the wings which seem to be tossed/cooked in the Thai sauce and are absolutely delicious. I got 12 wings. They’re small but the portion is great. The homemade ranch is delicious on the wings. It also has pickled celery which was unexpected but delightful. As an appetizer, we got half a dozen oysters. They are VERY briny. Not my preference but my husband loved them. I wish we had horseradish with them but you only get lemon and a ramekin of vinegar with chopped shallots. Overall, the food was great. The service only so-so (and it was not busy at all when we were there).

Today I visited Fitz's pub with my good friend, we had dropped in for a late dinner after watching a beautiful roadside sunset. il start with what went well, I decided to order a Guinness as did my company, it was a cracking pint as far as I where concerned, lovely head and I managed to split the g successfully. On the specials was the bacon and cabbage roast, something I had never tried before with me being from across the pond in England, it must be said this could be the reason I come back to Ireland. Next is my even better if's, I think the only thing I'd say could make this experience better is maybe some music for ambience, not that I'd say that it was a problem at all. 9.4/10 from me and my good friend, with special thanks to Veronika who made our experience just that bit better 👌🏽

We were hoping to find anywhere open given the power outage in the area due to Storm Eowyn, and were happy to see the lights on at Fitz’s Pub. They had a generator and were operating with a limited menu. The food was delicious, and the service great, and we were grateful to have a warm and friendly place to stop for lunch.
