First time in here a couple of weeks ago they had thi green curry on the specials had to try it. I did ask if they could swap the rice for chips not a bother to them. And the whole thing was lovely no disappointment what so ever. Got a brownie after and that was spot on to. Got a table by the fire which was needed for the baltic weather that day.

We spotted this place and decided to pop in to see if we could get served. They found us a table and the staff were nice and friendly. Food was lovely and we will definitely be back there next time we are in that part of Mayo.

Poor service, rushed us to order and deliver food, afterwards I am invisible now. Waiting now!, is my lunch free, Food is great as usual, but staff needs a new line of work.

20/11/2024: We are in Ireland for a couple weeks and have eaten at 2 of the finest hotels on the island but they pale in comparison to the authentic local fare served here at Carney’s. The seafood chowder was exactly what I had hoped for on this cold and rainy evening and was served piping hot with a side of delicious mashed potato. My wife had the Vol au Vents and it was hearty and delicious as well. All served and the Guinness poured perfectly by Katrina who was an superb host and she cheerfully provided local information and was very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend.
19/10/2024: After a trying day Carneys lifted our spirits with a great meal, fresh ingredients and menu and great service. Thankyou!

03/09/2024: Great pub, great atmosphere, great owner, great staff. I love Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪. And great music. Great locals. Ballinrobe , fantastic people. Fantastic racecourse, even though I lost a few bob.
