A very homely and comfortable hotel. Rooms are well serviced. Staff are super friendly, and I would say the hotel's finest asset. Breakfast and evening dinner were excellent.

For me and my partner this was the best of the best. The hotels location is excellent. 10 mins from Eyre Square and the bus stops outside the hotel coming from Galway centre and across the road heading in to Galway, stopping in Eyre Square. The 409 and I think the 404 run every 10 mins so no real waiting around. We phoned ahead on Saturday morning to notify the reception we would be arriving around 12:30 so our room was ready. The room was lovely and comfortable. The bed was king size, so so comfy and the facilities were absolutely perfect. The coffee machine took a bit of getting used to initially but once I got the hang of it it was perfect. The bath was an added extra and the shower was good and strong. The staff are so so lovely, they are all extremely helpful and friendly and certainly you can see they all get on great and seem to love working there which reflects in their friendly and helpful attitude. Jenny the manager had a great chat and sent us down a drink too on our first night which was lovely. The Maitre'D Jack was so lovely, really looked out for us and all the rest of the staff were absolutely so lovely. The food was delicious too. Chefs special first night was the surf and turf and the steak was perfectly cooked. Himself had the burger which was delicious also. Last night I had the chicken stir fry and it was spicy but perfect. The chicken and veg were beautifully cooked and not a bit greasy. He had the roast beef and all of it was delicious. The breakfasts we lovely, set us up for the day. Would we stay here again, absolutely. It's just perfect in every way.

Location is close enough to city centre but easily accessible. Facilities good but the breakfast was limited

We really appreciated this establishment, when we arrived, the receptionist took the time to explain himself to us via a translator. All the staff are pleasant, especially Miguel who also spoke French. Thank you for this stay

Great hotel to stay at, beautiful room and cleaned to the highest standard. Dinner was special, from 11/10 food to waitresses at your disposal at all times, it made us feel great, they have went above and beyond to make everything for us as best as possible. I’ve been in nearly all hotels in Galway, nothing compares to this place, for the price you’re paying you’re getting the same standard as 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost, This is the go to place for all my future weekends in Galway, thanks.
