Flannery's Hotel Galway in Galway

We had a retirement dinner for a work colleague, and a sit down dinner. Beautiful food served well. The beef was outstanding! 30 people positioned in a nice quiet corner, were everyone could hear each other. And later, live music in the front bar for people staying on to have a drink after. Totally recommended. We will be back many times!

One of the best hotel stays iv had in a long long time. Spacious room, gorgeous modern bathroom, firm mattress (slept so good). The club sandwich we had a lunch was delicious but the Duck with the plum and ginger sauce at dinner was spectacular. So delicious. Great breakfast options too. What made the stay so enjoyable had to be the staff. A lovely young man named Kevin tended to us with brilliant customer service as well as patiently training in new staff and helping other members of staff- he earns his money! He had such a great attitude and was always looking to see if customers needed assistance. There was another lovely gentleman called Dez who I ordered drinks from and was also very welcoming and mannerly. The staff in the night for dinner service were great but esp the young bar man Liam who was quick and efficient at his work but also great customer service , assisted bringing drinks down to table and got a lot of laughs from me and my Mum. The night porter Jerry was equally as lovely and charming as the other staff I had dealt with and was kind enough to lend a lighter when I inquired . Even the morning breakfast staff all seemed to be happy in their work place, management chatting casually to other staff members and no suggestion of an us vs them attitude. All the staff were so friendly and looked so happy; from the receptionist upon arrival to the night porter and the end of our night. If Kevin is up for training more staff I’ll be sure to apply, it looks like a fantastic place to work 😉🤣 thank you all for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back !

Had a very comfortable stay at Flannery’s whilst on a work trip. Great hotel but above all great staff, so helpful when I slipped up. Special mention to Cian on reception and one of the porters who went above and beyond. Highly recommend for the customer service alone.

Hotel looks a bit old and dated from outside but the room was lovely & modern. We were in a twin/triple room on 4th floor (views over neighbouring rugby pitch). Housekeeping staff were lovely & super helpful, as were reception staff (had to request change in room, change in duration of stay & request sth to be printed - all sorted with minimal fuss). Half hour walk in to the centre of town - found location to be really convenient, esp with good free parking.

Good hotel, nice and spacious suite. Good breakfast. Excellent and well-priced room service.

Great hotel just outside Galway city. Stayed for a stag and it was perfect. Breakfast a d staff were excellent. Flannerys is also really well connected with a bus stop right at the door which will bring you to Eyre Square
