We kept our visit simple with a couple of drinks and really enjoyed them. I ordered the Flannery’s Hazy, which was smooth, refreshing, and full of flavor. My husband stayed true to Irish tradition with a perfectly poured Guinness, and it was everything you would expect while enjoying one in Ireland. Sometimes a great pub doesn’t need an elaborate meal to leave a lasting impression—good beer, a comfortable setting, and friendly service can be more than enough. What stood out most was the genuine atmosphere. This isn’t a place trying to be trendy or touristy. It’s a proper Irish pub where you can relax, enjoy a pint, and soak in the history and culture around you. If you’re visiting Limerick and want an authentic experience rather than a chain establishment, Flannery’s deserves a stop on your itinerary. We’ll certainly remember our visit and would happily return the next time we’re in Limerick.

My third visit to this pub in a few years, and it's always a pleasure; the place is welcoming, and the owner is great. It's become a must-visit whenever I'm in Limerick!

Called in for breakfast and ordered full Irish which came with a big pot of tea. Top quality produce used, locally sourced. All around top notch. Offered top up of tea as well. All for € 12.90. Can't be bate. Will be back. Thanks to all the team front of house and the kitchen a very well run establishment. 👍
