Forno 500 in Dublin

Favourite Italian restaurant outside Italy - menu has a reasonable variety of pizza and non pizza options, fluffy Neapolitan base, excellent service, what’s not to like!

This restaurant is now our go-to....as often as possible! We were in Rome recently and to be honest struggled to find food on par with it. Staff so nice, and obviously a fab chef!

I recently visited an Italian restaurant in Dublin with friends for a catch-up, and had a somewhat mixed experience. While the service was efficient, the staff seemed quite busy and a bit rushed at times. Our food arrived promptly, and although there was a small issue with the bill for one of our party members, it was quickly resolved without much fuss. We were seated right away thanks to our reservation. For my main, I chose the Rigatoni All’Amatriciana with gluten-free pasta. It was fine, though I was expecting a more visually appealing presentation. The standout items for me were the Arancini starter, which was both delicious and well-presented, and the dessert, which was equally satisfying. One thing that caught me by surprise, especially compared to neighbouring Italian restaurants, was that there was no offer of Parmesan as a topping for our dishes, something I would have expected. Overall, I’d consider returning, but I’d likely choose a quieter time and opt for the à la carte menu rather than the set dinner menu.

The brusquetas are excellent, the arancinis too. We ate 4 different types of pizza (Capricchiosa, 4 cheese, forno 500 and Modena), all very good. The dough and base sauces are excellent. Panna cotta and tiramisu are good desserts. The only detail: the bathrooms. They need attention

A nice surprise while looking for authentic italian food in Dublin. Slightly overpriced but still worth it. The venue is a bit dark and narrow, but the atmosphere is nice overall.

Great all across the board, the Christmas meal was good value for money and a really nice way to end the year

very good place. the pizzas were great, as well as for the pasta. the service was good, special thanks to the adorable curly-haired waitress who was so nice.

Went there with my husband and a couple of friends. We decided to go for the Christmas menu. Food was so tasty, never disappoints. Spaghetti Prawns and zucchine was exquisite! Great wine list; we went for a Barbera D’Asti. Service was impeccable. We were served by Angelo and Rachele. They were very helpful and gave us good recommendations. We’ll be certainly back!
