Comimos aquí en nuestra primera noche en Dublín por recomendación de varios amigos. Este es un excelente restaurante: casual, amable y con altos estándares. Teníamos la ballena (algo que nunca había visto en los Estados Unidos), croquetas de eglefino ahumado, y fish & chips con solla y eglefino. Y las gildas como bocadillos. Todo era excelente y nos gustaría poder volver, pero conseguir espacio en el mostrador aquí requiere algo de planificación.

16/10/2025: Medicore food, fishiest prawns I've ever eaten and no crushed nuts on the Pad Thai!? Sacrilege. Much better food in Dublin for a more reasonable price too!
08/09/2025: Went to this place yesterday. Seems like a family-run restaurant, run by an old man and his wife. The old man was very polite and also served us very well. He was also super considerate by mentioning about the ingredients in a certain dish weren't suitable for vegans. The food tasted amazing, seemed authentic, and was quite-filling too. The restaurant gave a very homely vibe, which I liked quite a bit. Would definitely visit the restaurant again if I have the opportunity to.

The Ivy Dublin

01/01/2026: A group of 9 attended the Ivy over Christmas for a family birthday, 90th, the problems started from the time we arrived, the table we were given only sat 8, we were told by a manager that they were short staffed and there was nothing they could do, we had to squeeze to fit us all in. The starters and desert were lovely but unfortunately the mains were not so good. Several of us ordered the fish which was only warm, on person ordered a steak, they requested medium, but it came out blue. The sides were not delivered until most of us had finished the mains. The young waiter who served us was very nice, attentive and apologised to us from the time we sat down. I have been at the Ivy several times before, as had another member of the party and unfortunately after this experience we will not be returning.
31/12/2025: Lovely evening out with the girls. The Ivy is always very mindful of my shellfish allergy
