We loved this place so much we ate here twice in 2 days. Beef stew seems like their most popular dish - it was delicious! Came back for lunch and it was just as good. Plus very good service. Thanks Louise! You were great!

Good food selection of traditional Irish and other standard pub fare and a kids menu. Large establishment with lots of seating, local hurling matches on TV and cold drinks situated right on a very cool city street that's closed for pedestrian traffic only. Safe and clean, kids welcome

Before going to Fowlers we were in Gibneys. Fowlers is total opposite to Gibneys. Really good staff and good atmosphere. Would recommend Fowlers to anybody who’s in Malahide.

Four of us came in from a cold, rainy day exploring the nearby beach and castle. The helpful bartender greeted us. The food ( 2 beef stew, 1 seafood chowder, and a vegan curry) was a 10 of 10. With a round of our favorite cider (Orchard thieves) the cost was €103. We used the very clean toilets before leaving. This was everything we could ask for on a cold rainy day...or any day truly.

The 4 of us had a wonderful lunch. I recommend the fish and chips. Beautiful bar & restaurant. The music was a little loud but they turned it down for us.

Great staff and everything came quickly. The kitchen closes at 7p but they still accommodated us at 645p. My stew was the best meal I had while in Ireland, almost as good as my mother makes. The cake wasn't my favorite, but it hits the sweet tooth (this is still a pub after all).

Town Yard Modern Bistro

23/07/2025: We were there on a Wednesday evening, busy but not packed; nice background noise and quiet enough to have a conversation. Waiters were very attentive which was reflected in the tip! The food is good and reasonable, we enjoyed a couple of cocktails before the dinner. Nice place, will definitely go back.
13/07/2025: Great brunch was had in Town Yard. I went for the poached eggs with Halloumi and it was nice. The service was good too. I recommend.

11/07/2025: We visited for dinner one Sunday recently because gluten free options are available. The food was very good and the waitress was knowledgeable about gluten free options. The restaurant is in a nice location and has a nice vibe. It's popular with families, so early Sunday evening isn't the time to eat there if you want a quiet meal, but otherwise, I'd recommend. It is nice to find restaurants that can accommodate diners with gluten free requirements.
