FRANZINIS in Trim

Our first time in Flambe since the change of ownership and name. A big improvement! The place is much brighter, cleaner and the decor is great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really tasty and fresh. We had Diavolo pizza and fish and chips. Pizzas are Neapolitan style - really quality dough and fresh toppings. Try a bit of balsamic on it - lifts it levels! Some people commented that the crusts are burnt. It’s Neapolitan in a wood fire oven- they’re meant to be that way. Fish was really fresh, thin crispy batter cooked in clean oil. A really good addition to Trim, we will be back.

Just got a takeaway pizza from here and I’m very picky with my pizzas have to say delicious very very impressed will definitely be getting it again 😁👏

We had a Lovely evening here, We were met and seated in minutes despite not having a reservation. We were brought a bottle of filtered water and bread for the table whilst we read the menu. The Bread was so good Homemade focaccia well seasoned with seasalt and rosemary. We shared a started of Lousianna wings, very moreish. Mains were steaks, Mine was cooked exactly as I asked and was served with good sides of fries, Mushroom and vegetables. We will return, There is a wood fired Pizza oven to be tried!

The food was DIVINE! The sauces were over the top! I’m so glad we had dinner here! my husband had the potato leek soup with The House special. I had a ribeye over mashed potatoes with a red wine sauce.

Food was generally very good. Burger, lamb shank, and the Mongolian Beef all received high reviews. The chicken was on tough side. One of the six meals came out excessively late, well after the others. Paying the bill was a problem since they were unable to get their card machine to work. We walked a half mile to an ATM to remedy this problem. When we returned, our driver was waiting as we had called him. But the owner and manager were too busy caring for another customer to attend to us. I was quite put out and let her know that we had gone out of way to settle our bill and didn't appreciate her chat time with an employee and serving drinks while we waited. Our food was very good, except for the chicken dish. The staff was apologetic about their service problem in bringing out one meal about the time the rest of us were finishing. It was, overall, a disappointment for our final evening in Ireland.

Great spot loads of choices on the menu quick service no fuss whatsoever plenty of parking outside and child friendly will definitely be back soon hopefully reasonable priced

FLAMBE !! What an INCREDIBLE Find !!! Two nights ago a friend and I were lucky enough to have dinner at Flambe. I never write reviews of restaurants but felt I definitely needed to about this wonderful gem! Everything about the experience was great. The food was amazing - although the couple next to us raved about their SeaBass, our wonderful waitress Caitlin suggested we try the 'Feathered Beef' because we were both on the hungry side. I'm so glad that we did. The beef was so delicious it literally flaked off and almost melted in your mouth. And Caitlin kindly also provided us with both the Mushroom and Peppercorn sauces since we couldn't make up our minds - and both were equally delicious though very different (and the portions were very generous!) I have to say, that the only thing that topped the food was the service !! We were greeted as soon we entered by the very friendly and attentive manager/hostess Sinead - as well as helping to fit us in on last minute notice, Sinead also gave us some recommendations about what fun things to do around Meath - and twice she checked in at the table to make sure that everything was to our liking. Our waitress Caitlin was also first-rate - giving us great recommendations and also being so friendly and attentive. Thanks again to Sinead, Caitlin and the wonderful kitchen at Flambe. I highly recommend trying this wonderful restaurant if you're near Meath !!
