FRANZINIS in Trim

Poor experience. I booked a table for 2 people and had requested a highchair in my booking which was noted in their book on arrival. The reservation was made a week in advance. The host was not very welcoming on arrival and had seemed flustered. He stated it was very busy because of Father's Day but when we were seated we noticed a good few empty tables and by no means did it look super busy as the host suggested. We were then told that all the highchairs were in use and when they did come with a highchair, one of the straps on it was missing which meant we could not strap our 10 month old into the chair safely. When we highlighted this, he told us that there were no other highchairs available (even though I had requested the highchair a week in advance at time of booking) We spent a good while before we got handed menus and already they were sold out of many items on the set menu. This was early in the day still and the restaurant did not look at full capacity! They do not serve any spirits at the bar either which is very limited and does not cater for a variety of customers I would assume. Our reservation was for 3:30pm and we had only received our first course by 4:15pm. The meal itself was only grand but the waitresses in fairness were very friendly. However, I would not recommend as there are in my opinion much better places in Trim to dine out!

Had a family meal to celebrate my dad's birthday and father's day combined and I couldn't fault it, portions were just right, staff were lovely and food was great. They were very accommodating to additional party size. The only thing I could fault is that they were sold out of apple crumble, other than that it was an extremely pleasant day. Possibly the longest time I've spent in a restaurant, there was no rush on us and decent time between courses to digest.

A true culinary delight at Flambe restaurant ! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making you feel special. From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent , extremly delicious and perfectly presented. Highly recommend. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

Had a meal here on Friday. Pizza was best I've had. Char, crust, dough and toppings were top class. Will be back again and would definitely recommend the pepperoni pizza. Staff were great and very quick service. Perfect location beside trim castle.

Wonderful host, Carolann, fab food & great service. All with view overlooking Trim Castle. A must for locals & tourists alike! A real gem for Trim!

First time being there with family and friends for dinner! Order monk fish at owner's recomandation and it were fabulous! Pizza for kids very tasty and dessert amazing! Staff friendly and polite! Hightly recommend Flambe restaurant!
