French Table in Limerick

Excellent menu, including good options for vegetarians. Great service and a very pleasant dining room. Good quality French wines. Fair value overall.

My experience at The French Table was truly spectacular. The staff were very courteous when I walked into the restaurant, and there were no lapses in this courtesy during the meal. I was trying French food for one of the first times and also trying a few other first-time meals, and the restaurant staff were extremely helpful in providing descriptions of the different options, as well as instructions on how to enjoy the meal. The delicious food and excellent service were consistent throughout. Each of the meals was appetizing to the eyes and to the tongue and had an elegant, thoughtful execution and design for the service. The prices for the meals were very reasonably set for the experience. I will definitely rate The French Table as a must-visit for a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere combined with the best service. I am excited to try the restaurant again!

The staff and the food was really nice. Especially the snails and the rabbit were absolutely amazing! However, I would recommend chefs to improve the pulled duck, the flavors and be more clean and the texture should be more moist. Thank you for a great dinner!

Wish I could give this place a 6. From last reviews I cannot understand comments re portion size etc. the food is rich, well balanced, beautiful and delicious. We arrived with our 7 month old and we were made feel very comfortable by Lorcan who was just an amazing host and cocktail maker. Best espresso martini I've had outside my own home! We are already looking forward to going back

Been to The French Table many times over the years. The welcome has always been warm and the staff friendly. The food has always been excellent. It is my favourite restaurant in LimerIck. This time I had the crevettes in the most delicous seafood sauce, followed by the rabbit blanquette. Not only is The French Table rare in serving rabbit - but whatever iteration of rabbit cookery, it is always succulent & delicious. The chocolate mousse for dessert was lovely too. Relaxed vibes & you always feel taken good care of. Standards have never dropped..

We just got a main and desert, the desert was lovely but the main was more like a starter portion size with the price tag of a main. My main was also cold in some bites so obviously was heated up in microwave poorly. We also didn’t get any bread to start but it was randomly brought to us after our deserts which was good as we were still hungry. Won’t be back unfortunately.

Food taste was a bit average and portion size depends on what dish you get. They give bread and chips as starters. Bread was lovely. However, onion soup was the only dish that stood out for me. Was a bit busy that night. Can be quiet some other nights tho.
