Front Door in Galway

21/04/2025: The rooms are not large but very clean and functional. We can indeed hear the noise from the pub but nothing disturbing for my part. The breakfast is plentiful and good.

15/04/2025: Stayed here with a friend and we really liked it. Positives: location was great, away from the center but only a 10min walk, we felt safe as two girls walking from the Latin quarter back at night. The staff was SO friendly, they refilled our water bottles for us (with ice) everytime and always said hi as we went in and out. Room was clean and nice with comfy beds. Free parking. A few shops around the area were nice. The pub was pretty busy and it was nice to be able to grab a drink downstairs. We forgot we had free breakfast and didn’t eat anything during our stay so can’t comment on food. Negatives: it was warmer than normal for June (2023) which isn’t there fault but there’s no ac so it was WARM. We had windows open but it is a bar so there were drunk people in the patio until late. I had a portable fan that I clipped to the bed and that really helped. The bathroom was teeny and the shower didn’t drain well and would flood the floor but we never asked them to fix it and I’m sure they would have tried if they could. I would easily stay here again
