Funké - Afro Caribbean Restaurant in Sligo

Food was great, cooked with love and brimming with flavour. Great Selection of dishes, so we will be back to try more. Chef even called out to thank us, which is a nice touch. Goat curry is a must try. Thanks guys!

Super clean fresh atmosphere and restaurant. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Chef is incredible have made a regular out of me for sure jerk chicken and jollaf rice is absolutely fantastic and they even sell the sauce by the jar! Corkage fee, we bring wine two mains and coffee 50e really good pricing to top

Had lunch in the lovely Funké today and it was so good. Delicious high, quality ingredients and flavours. I’ll be back for dinner next time. Interesting menu and friendly service.

The food was so good I forgot to take photos! What a find and will definitely be back next time I’m in town. We had the most delicious selection of fresh expertly prepared food - we were all so excited to taste every dish that came out and every one was a winner. Not spicy but so super flavourful (and spicy was an option if we had wanted too!) . Also really impressed by how well looked after it was, we had a super comfy spot in the window but there were lots of spots for groups to hang out and chat over food. Staff were super friendly and accommodating and loved to see the extra effort that had been put into creating an accessible space. Can’t wait to visit again - highlights were everything but especially the moin moin, beef skewers, jerk chicken, tagine & goat curry!!

Funké is a gem in Sligo! A very beautiful restaurant, just amazing. Her menu has a nice variety of tastes, all so amazing. Super friendly staff as well. We definitely recommend her food, and will come back for soon!

Had a lovely dinner here whilst on holiday, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and welcoming! Good vegetarian options and we loved Malta Guiness - will be looking out for it back in Glasgow! Highly recommend!

The food was amazing, the manager was super sweet and lovely, the soup was so sweet and lovely flavor, my mum got the salad and she said it was lovely and fresh and the salad was lovely and crunchy, I got the Caribbean chicken curry it was the nicest curry I have had in a very long time I would highly recommend coming here for food and it’s not expensive atal
