Funké - Afro Caribbean Restaurant in Sligo

We had a lovely meal there with our friends. The food was the best I've had in a long time, great value. I tasted all my friends dinners and each was nicer than the next. Looking forward to come back with the kids.

Came by to have lunch as we are in our road trip. Atmosphere was perfect, clean at quiet..i'm not really fan of pasta but i dare to try and it was really good. All food was full of flavor. Highly recommended💛

Very cozy restaurant, I tried Likkle Beef, and it was perfect!

I booked Funké for a joint 40th birthday meal - what a fantastic night! We had 14 people in the booking so we were given a gorgeous table in a separate area just to the side of the main dining area – so we were in the restaurant atmosphere but also had a private room vibe. We ordered a mix of goat curry and jerk chicken round the table and the food was brought family style” heaped up on glorious sharing platters so that we passed the food round and everybody could keep on trying another delicious spoonful. It really added to the banquet celebration with friends and it made it feel like we were so welcome and at home. The servings were so generous, couldn’t finish what we were given so we took home the best leftovers ever! Would really recommend Funké for a big party – the corkage fee is low, we brought our favourite wines and we ate incredibly well. The restaurant is stylish and the food is wonderful and the welcome is so warm.

Delicious food, fish curry was amazing and jerk chicken was lovely as well. Also tried the dessert which was fab! Staff was so attentive and kind and the chef was so lovely and even came out to check we were enjoying ourselves. Highly recommend !!

It was an amazing experience! The food was delicious with a new and interesting flavour profile, I also really enjoyed the warm friendly service and atmosphere. Highly recommend this place! 😊

Visited with a friend. Cozy little restaurant. We tried the veggie soup, likkle beef skewers, jerk chicken and joloff, and beef suya and puff-puffs as a dessert. All of them were great, we tried each others' orders too, but the beef suya is the best! They also have malt brewed by Guinness which is a nice meeting of cultures. Very friendly service and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Delicious food. Turkey legs and Chicken curry are fantastic.
