Went here last night to celebrate with my girlfriend. What a great experience. We booked for 9pm on a Tuesday and the place was packed! For good reason. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Exceptional service especially from Daniel who took great care of us and helped with great recommendations. Porterhouse steak was 10/10! Gorgeous cocktails and wine. I recommend the Smokehouse, a great take on an old fashioned. And great dessert. Definitely a pricy spot with dinner for 2 costing €265 before tip. But well worth every cent. Will deffinitly be returning in future. Perfect spot for a special occasion

My alltime favorite Steakhouse in Dublin! Been here many times always getting treated very nicely by the staff. I suggest going a little early to enjoy sitting in the bar area with a great variety of drinks before dining! When it comes to the food I‘ve had the ribeye many times which is fantastic! I even tried the chicken once and have been positively surprised. My go to steak though is the chateaubriand! Always cooked to perfection on rare or medium rare! I‘ll definitely come back again! Thanks for always making it a great evening!

Was very good. Nothing is cheap any longer. But a slice of Celeriac roasted and some pickled Celeriac and a hint of truffle?. Really. All tge steaks we're excellent

30/12/2025: I’d come across Mad Egg multiple times but never got around to visiting it, until a weekday lunch finally changed that, and I’m glad it did. The experience was brilliant from start to finish. The menu is concise and well thought out, which makes choosing easy without feeling limited. Great deals,everything we ordered, from the burgers to the tenders, was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly the star of the show. Service was smooth and efficient, and the overall vibe of the place added to the experience. Top-notch food, great execution, and thoroughly delicious. Highly recommended.
