Great Guinness,friendly staff.Was my grandads local so went in to raise a Guinness or two for his anniversary.

Nice enough pub but €7.50 for Guinness is taking the piss

Proper old fashioned pub. Perfect for quiet pints and friendly conversation. And obviously an extremely popular spot when the Dubs play in Croker

I love Gaffneys, but I live on the other side of Dublin so its a special occasion getting there. To me, its a place in Dub where the Guinness always lives up in a beautiful bar with great staff and locals. Was there recently for the first time since new ownership and the pint was a bit cold and head a bit small. Not sure if that was because busy conditions heavy flow etc., but as a person with an aversion to very cold Guinness I noted it. Will have to return for further testing.
