Went for the Irish coffees and stayed for the impeccable atmosphere. Firstly the Irish coffee was incredible. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had in my life. The atmosphere inside the pub was amazing as well. Overall, we really enjoyed the pub and would love to come back again.

I had a pint of Guinness and had a good time.

Perfect locally owned pub with incredible Irish coffee! Girl working at the sweater shop across the street brought me over herself. Really glad I stopped by here while in Galway. PS - to the bartender who was telling me about Keem Beach and Dog’s Bay on Wednesday round 13:30.. you’re my designated Irish crush of my trip. Should have got your name!

The Irish Coffee Redemption Arc We Needed! After suffering emotional damage from the Irish coffee at Sonny Molloy’s (see my review there for the full tragedy), a local took pity on us and sent us to Garavan’s. They promised award-winning Irish coffee and for once, the hype was real. The moment the glass hit the table, I swear angels started humming. The coffee was smooth, warm, perfectly balanced, and the cream actually looked like real cream instead of something from a can. After the disappointment earlier, this one hit straight to the spirit. Garavan’s restored my faith in Irish coffee, humanity, and possibly life itself. Highly recommend. ☕💛🇮🇪
