Garavan's in Galway

My husband and myself popped into Garavans on Monday for a drink while we were visiting Galway for a couple days. We ended up staying for the evening, the craic was that good ! Nice creamy pints of Guinness, friendly staff who love a chat and we had great banter with fellow customers including locals, Americans, Aussies and English. Great music playing on the sound system too. The owner Gordon a right character and Niamh, Dylan and Pat lovely as well. Will definitely be back here soon, fabulous pub.

Classic pub, very nice place, the staff is awesome and the beer is gooooodd!!

You can't help but try the Galway Hook, a fairly recent local beer but excellent as a change from the thousand Guinnesses you try in the meantime. Special mention for the Irish coffee, really very good

Best Irish coffee! We stopped in for Irish coffees and a pint in the early afternoon of a cooler day and sat outside to people watch. The Irish coffees were the best we had during out 2-week vacation, and Guinness is, well, Guinness!

Always come here when I visit Galway...warm welcome and great music!

A grand place for a grand pint.

This place serves the freshest cakes, sandwiches, snacks, healthy treats and of course the coffees are also awesome. The quality and taste of the coffees, are great.
