Went to a family funeral after . Staff couldn’t be more helpful n friendly , service and food was excellent .

Called in about 12. 30 for some light bites and some wine, I ordered a pino grill and a riojo ,both excellent. I opted for the chowder and partner had the goat cheese. When the chowder was served I thought at first it was a potato soup but when I fished around in the bowl I discovered 3 pieces of lightly smoked haddock. Not related to a chowder no fish taste. My partners goat cheese was plentiful but so mild it lacked any goat flavour, I paid my bill and complained to a lady who appeared to be in charge , she told me it was a haddock chowder and she has told the chef many times about customer complaints regarding same. First and possibly last visit.
