29/11/2025: I went out of my way to visit this cafe based on a strong recommendation, so I had high expectations—but I left feeling quite disappointed. The food was fine, but not particularly memorable. We had the French toast with hollandaise and salmon, and the pulled beef on french toast, which could have been hotter. The service let things down. The male waiter seemed more interested in chatting with other tables, and we struggled to get his attention. After waiting around 10 minutes to pay and get his attention, I had to stand up and approach the counter myself. He was on his hunkers chatting. The cafe is compact, with very tight table spacing and a high noise level. Fewer tables would make it far more pleasant. Maybe we came on an off day, but overall, it felt a little overhyped.
