Good food. Restaurant was very quiet on a Wednesday night in November 2024. Starters were good but the Vegan main course was a mush. It arrived at our table within 3 minutes of us finishing our starters. We assumed that it was precooked and sitting on a hotplate for some time.

To find this place one am has to walk through Ballsbridge and look for a green door almost hidden between 2 pubs. Walking up the stairs leads to a nice restaurant with themed decorations. The interior is nice. The atmosphere possibly too quiet considering that the room was almost empty. Food is good and the chef clearly makes an effort: recipes are not obvious and the presentation is lovely. Taste is not as consistently good as we would have liked. We had one dish lacking salt, one (the special) that couldn't get much taste even after adding salt twice and one that was even too tasty. I would have preferred to be warned that the special that I ordered had basically the same taste as one of the starters (the croquettes). Coffee felt overpriced: 3.10 for a cup or Nespresso?

Popped in on a Saturday evening during a weekend trip to Dublin as it was highly rated on tripadvisor in the area near our hotel. The restaurant doesn't have a frontage at street level being up a staircase between two pubs but very worth finding. The food was really excellent and for the standard pretty reasonably priced. Very nice surroundings and very friendly and professional staff. I'd return here without hesitation if back in the area again. Highly recommend.
