We had a wonderfull night with delicious food, good wines and nice service. Especially the quality of to food you get for the price, is outstanding! Spend around 50 euro for diner, excluding drinks.

Cute and cozy atmosphere, and the food was excellent! We especially liked the meatballs, hash browns and carrots.

Last weekend, after a trip to the Cliffs of Moher, we stopped at a lovely restaurant offering a tapas menu, and it turned out to be the perfect end to the day. The standout dish was the black sole, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the crispy hash browns and fresh sourdough bread, both of which complemented the meal perfectly. On top of the great food, the service was impeccable. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Doolin wasn’t in my original travel plan but I ended up staying two nights. I walked in Glas drenched in rain coming down from the cliffs after a 7 hour hike. The maitre d took my jacket to their laundry department and assured me they would know what to do and my jacket will be dry and warm in half an hour. I decided to let the maitre d order for me and surprise me. His recommendation of pork belly, beef ragu croquettes, and Argentinian Malbec was delicious. I did tell him I didn’t want seafood that night because I’ve had them the nights before. I walked out of Glas tummy full, body warm, and mood bubbly. :) Glas can compete with fine NYC restaurants. What a pleasant surprise.

OUT OF THIS WORLD! The whole menu comes from within 30 Miles. Yep…48km. For those who follow…You know I never just give 5-Stars to a first time visit. It takes a few to get those. WOW! From the veggies to the beef, fish, and more. Super fresh. Seriously the best meal we have had in Ireland 🇮🇪. Basically it is swarm waiting, tapas, and share plates. We had everything we could. - Oysters - Steak - Carrots…the BEST, like eating a steak. Charred and cooked awesome. - Salads. - Charcuterie board - and the list goes on. From the drinks to the delivery of every dish and service, it is worth every dollar for the experience.

We had a superb meal at Glas restaurant 26th August. Nickolas our lovely knowledgeable super professional waiter recommended the Grilled Mackeral which was divine. Phenomenal service and food, I recommend to anyone who wants a taste of everything County Clare has to offer!

TL;DR: good food, great service I did a cliff walk from the Hags Head tower, along the Cliffs of Moher and into Doolin. By the time I arrived I was hungry and I wandered into Glas. It was a bit fancier than I expected, but I knew I didn't want pizza so I gave it a try. The room is beautifully decorated, with candlelit tables adding to the ambiance -- it would definitely be appropriate for a nice date night, but I was a dirty, tired solo traveler and they didn't mind at all when I asked for a table for one. I ordered the scallops and the mussels, both of which were sourced from the Galway Bay. The food was amazing and the bowl of mussels was huge. I also had one of their signature cocktails which I can't remember the name of but it was delicious. The staff were all polite and attentive. The best thing about my dining experience there, however, was Nikolas the waiter, who told me that he recognized another solo traveler and made sure I was comfortable and had a bit of extra gin in my cocktail -- he could tell I needed it! When I left he sent me on my way with some warm bread that had just come out of the oven. I would have loved to stay and chat about travel some more but I had to rush to catch the bus -- and the fresh bread made the bus ride much more pleasant! If you want to have a nice date night come here, but if you're traveling and tired and hungry, DEFINITELY come here and ask for Nikolas.
