It was a wonderful experience. The food was divine. Particularly the venison and the beetroot plates with an absolutely outstanding wine pairing. 1st class service. Highly recommended

Had an amazing business lunch in glover alley last week - easily the best lunch I’ve had in Dublin. Bbq pigeon was incredible. Staff were very friendly - Mathieu is an excellent host

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt it was important here to let the team know at Glovers Alley how good a job they did. From the moment we walked in we were taken care of in the fantastic setting of the restaurant. We had a 3 course lunch and it was exceptional. Can’t fault any of it. Head chef Andy came out and chatted to us for 20 mins which topped off our day and really made the experience. You wouldn’t get that in other restaurants of this caliber. Can’t wait to go back.

It's a rare treat to eat here, the food is superb, and the staff are so attentive. It is absolutely worth every cent.

One of Dublin's best dining experiences Exemplary and pleasant service and atmosphere Fairly sophisticated and substantial wine list And what to say about the dishes... no false note Various inspirations (notably Mediterranean and even Asian) with lively and sharp tastes, intelligent combinations of flavors (land/sea, sweet/salty, etc.) Special mention to the “French baguette” which was good but only “French” in name 😜 (no hard feelings, we won the France-Ireland rugby match 🏉) In short, a must-do for lovers of exceptional cuisine passing through Dublin

Very delicious restaurant in Dublin with great staff!

Despite reading the many positive reviews, we were left disappointed by our visit. We found the table setting a bit soulless on arrival. I understand that the intention is to be minimalistic but it felt bare. We had the á la carte menu. The food was unremarkable. The artichoke starter and venison main course were highlights. Disliked the suckling pig main course which was tough and lacking in flavour. The amuse bouche prior to the meal was tasty. Wines were good and we enjoyed a glass of Czech sparkling beforehand. Overall, the food and service was without any sense of passion. The meal was delivered in quite a short time frame (just over an hour). We communicated our disappointment to the staff and they without asking, made a small reduction to the bill which was appreciated. On balance, while the restaurant has potential, we would not return or recommend as it did not represent a worthwhile experience for the money.

Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en cualquier lugar. Tuve una gran experiencia hace unos años y finalmente tuve la oportunidad de volver con un amigo, fue tan bueno o incluso mejor de lo que recordaba. Fui con el menú degustación, cada plato era maravilloso, complejo y excelente sabor y hermosa presentación. Entre lo más destacado para mí fue un plato de remolacha con avellanas que era una combinación increíble de sabores y un plato de ternera con foie gras, aunque todo estaba genial. Los dos idiotas divertidos en realidad pueden haber sido mis favoritos. También fuimos con el maridaje de vinos y me impresionó la creatividad, múltiples vinos de zonas menos comunes, incluido un vino de naranja. Gran experiencia.
