Exceptional local pub with brilliant staff, great atmosphere, no music and no heads in phones. People talk to each other - table to table. Those toasties provide excellent soakage for the Guinness.

I had not slept for over 24 hours but needed to stay awake before my hotel check-in. A cig, coffee, and Guinness where the 3 things on my mind and Grogan's delivered 2 of those. Grogan's drinks and outgoing staff kept me entertained until check in.

One of the best old pubs in Dublin. Should be on everyone's list for a pint and a toasted sandwich. Staff couldn't be more helpful. Great service and a perfect pint watching the world go by.

13/07/2026: We went in a group of 6 people for an early dinner with the fixed 3 course menu for 55€ + drinks. The food was great and the service also. I would really recommend this place. It is small and very cozy.

26/07/2026: A true Irish pub with excellent traditional dishes (generous portions). Extremely professional and friendly staff, even the younger ones. Plus, in the evenings you can listen to live music, which adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
24/07/2026: The nicest staff you could meet. We were there on All Ireland Hurling Final Sunday and we were so well treated. We didn't have food.
