Grogan's Castle Lounge in Dublin

Class old school Dublin pub. Hasn't changed a bit since I used to visit years ago. Brilliant service and toasties. Pint of Guinness is top notch!

Look for Steve, the excellent waiter.

Incredible place. Excellent Guinness. What felt like a Dublin institution!

It's a really rustic pub with a pleasant atmosphere. It's already relatively full around 2 p.m., so it's probably more difficult to find a seat with a lot of people. Otherwise the service was very nice and helpful!

Great pub, simple toasted sandwiches and Guiness.

A lovely pint in the sun, friendly staff who regularly maintained the outside section wiping tables down etc. it was a little busy but plenty of seating and space to stand around if no tables available.

Brilliant staff and fantastic place

Popped in here for a quick drink on a wet spring day and it brought me back in time to when a pub was all about having a drink and a chat. No TV on, no music (and I'm a music lover) just a traditional pub which reminded me of a rural Irish pub in the middle of Dublin city. Plenty of outside seating for those who prefer to sit and 'people watch' I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

A true Irish pub. The genuine article. No TV, no piped music. Just great Guinness, great conversation and great craic!
