Loved to local vibe and toasty’s

Loved our visit to J. Grogan! A proper Dublin pub with plenty of character. The wood-paneled walls, red leather seating, and fantastic artwork give it a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Great spot to enjoy a drink, spend time with friends, and get lost in conversation. One of the highlights of our time in Dublin—would absolutely come back!

Generously sized and well-portioned. While it might not blow your mind if you aren't sure what to expect from a humble toastie, it’s a solid, authentic execution of a classic Irish pub staple. 🤵🏻‍♂️ Service: Friendly, polite service, though food preparation took slightly longer than expected (around 15 minutes for a toastie). Card payments accepted without issue. Also plus point without asking, the staff thoughtfully brought over a jug of fresh iced water for the table. ⚖️ Verdict: A classic Irish pub setting for a solid, budget-friendly toastie. Not a mandatory culinary pilgrimage, but a great spot if you want to sample a traditional Dublin pub snack!
