Goat In The Boat in Skerries

We were looking for a typical Irish breakfast restaurant in Skerries, but ended up in ‘goat in the boat’. It is beautifully situated at the very tip of the harbour and has a fancy appearance. We enjoyed excellent pastries including the filled pistachio croissant. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Of course it is more expensive than an average Irish breakfast. The perfect place if you are looking for a hip and refined simple breakfast.

Great location. Amazing staff. Coffee was really good and the vibe was extremely relaxed.

One of the most delicious bakeries I've tried in Ireland! You can really feel the care and quality of their products. They taste fresh and quite tasty. The place is definitely designed with attention to detail; you feel like you're in a premium spot in the area. Every time I've been, I've seen quite a few people. Maybe the entrance lacks a little space for wheelchairs, but it's quite spacious. There is a table at the entrance, but it's close to the door and can be colder. They have coffee, hot drinks, ice cream, pastries, and very elaborate desserts. They also have croissants and savory treats. The only thing I miss so much about the place is the delicious Matcha powder for a hot or iced drink. It's actually my only request as a returning customer. Congratulations on such a nice place. This place has a warm and cozy ambiance with a lovely atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly, professional, and full of energy, making the experience even more enjoyable. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the wide selection of pastries was a delightful touch. Plus, the beautiful view is the perfect bonus!

Don't mind the ranters on other reviews. This is a great coffee shop with a great atmosphere, perfect selection of savoury and treats. Along with great tasting coffee. I notice some reviewers had great experiences in goat in the boat and on one visit deciding something wasn't to their liking. And posted a bad or mediocre review. If you're in skerries give it a visit and enjoy the experience ☺️

Everything was great and the service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the chocolate and coconut cake and a croissant to share. They put the croissant with butter and jam in case you want to spread it. In addition, the sea views are very beautiful.

Lovely place to warm up after a long walk in Skerries. Very lively and cute shop too. They don’t have a drinks menu but can make pretty much everything, had a nice Chai Latte, cookie was nice but a tad dry
