To quote a friend, this is like the Cheers of coffee shops. Where everyone knows your name. I drive to get my coffee here rather than go to my nearest coffee shop. The coffee is better but also Callum, Donal and team always make my family (including two dogs!) feel so welcome and valued as customers. Whether we are just grabbing a quick coffee or one of their delicious sandwiches or pastries it is our go to glimmer spot. Highly recommend!

This cafe is one of the best in south Dublin. The atmosphere is always super chilled and casual. The star of the show is their sambos which are so good they supply them to over 30 other cafes and vendors in Dublin! Every one of them is packed with flavour and high quality fillings,perfectly crispy and gooey cheese. Truly brilliant all round, The cafe is quite quirky with it being a period building. Seating is available but limited,loads of outdoor seating and they are dog friendly!

19/08/2024: This really is a gem of a takeaway. I got the burger and chips tonight and both were absolutely terrific. I loved the banter between the customers and the staff, too. I’ll be back for the battered sausage and fish & chips before I head back to NYC!

The Legal Eagle

01/09/2024: Yumm! We love having Sunday roast here. I went to another place in Malahide known for roasts and it was not nearly as good as Legal Eagle! The carrots are roasted to perfection. The roasted chicken is my husbands favorite but I love the beef. The cabbage is so good and gives a lot of great flavor. The potatoes… could be better. They’re the only part of the plate that is lacking. The skin is very tough making them seem stale. Just not as good as other roast potatoes you can get in Ireland. But the whole plate is a triumph and we love coming here. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is cozy with modern touches.
18/08/2024: The food was amazing, only moan was that it was not hot enough. I would certainly go back without hesitation recommend it. Next time I'll mention the temperature of the food. The ultra friendly staff were amazing.
