Great locals pub. Taken over by match goers especially before games. Very happy atmosphere and family friendly. Staff are everywhere and friendly. I brought my sons recently and it was a great reminder for me of times there with my Dad.

Our first pint after arriving Dublin! The place is cool with an outdoor covered patio. Lots of TVs. We just had a beer so nothing to report on food!

29/04/2026: We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel on Parnell Street, Dublin at the weekend and had a really lovely experience. The hotel was extremely clean throughout, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom area felt new, modern, and spotless, which really stood out. The room itself was quite small, but perfectly adequate for a weekend city break, and it was also very clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, with soft pillows that made for a great night’s sleep. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a great central location and we would happily return

Gallagher's Boxty House, menu

12/05/2026: Debbie was the staff member for us and she was so kind and inviting! The fish and chips had the greatest batter and crisp, with two delicious sauces! So amazing, highly recommend and easily feeds two people if you want to split dishes for sharing. The seafood chowder was also so flavorful and full of a quality variety of foods. There’s a great pub atmosphere for adults, and kid friendly from the crowd eating there at the same time. Good music but not too loud you can enjoy your company. Highly recommend.
