Korean burger was poor compared to other burgers I've seen on tables around, sitting upstairs means once they bring the food you shouldn't expect them to come up if they don't have to bring other food. Also, the door to the bathroom is constantly open so you can breathe whatever air comes out. It wasn't the worst burger I ever had but the whole experience is enough for never coming back again

Mmm mm mmm, the food was delicious so good. We went on a bank holiday so it was quite busy but we managed to get a seat. Completely forgot that bank holiday doesn’t count as a student discount which was an oopsie but still really good. Burgers came very quick which was great. It’s a very tight building so we were pressed right beside other people but we are used to it. Wish the burger came with chips and not have to pay for them separately but still really good. A lot of options too which was great, but overall the food was amazing and we will be back! (Also forgot the names of the burgers but that’s what they look like)

19/10/2025: Everything was absolutely amazing. Being a fan of craft cocktails as well as being a veteran bartender, this place had the perfect balance in every category. Staff was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable and the cocktails were so well executed, creative and balanced. It’s hard to find a bar that checks all the boxes from hospitality, quality and design, but bar 1661 managed to exceed our expectations. It’s easy for places of this caliber to be pretentious and uninviting, but this was not the case in the slightest. We loved everything so much our first night that we had to come back the second night in town to have one more Irish Coffee. Whenever we get back to Dublin, 1661 will be a must stop.
