Govindas in Dublin

I was pleasantly surprised to find a pure vegetarian restaurant in Dublin. Seeing it instantly made me happy, and my visit turned out to be even more delightful. The management greeted me warmly with a genuine smile, and the hospitality was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing, and the overall experience was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great vegetarian food in Dublin.

I have to say I change my 5 star for 3 star at the moment as it’s not same like was before. Firstly food is not great anymore, it’s way too spicy every time I am there. You cannot feel anymore taste of food. As well is very boring,no more cabbage/cauliflower. Just chickpeas, potatoes and tofu. Same and over spicy . Besides that the service is not great too. No one is smile anymore. When they put food on the plate it’s very lazy way, kind of like they don’t care . I missed my old tasty , good flavour-Govinda

We didn't know where to eat and we found this place, the food is very good and the owners are super nice, definitely highly recommended and cheap considering we are in Dublin, with a plate of 11 euros (small) you are full, good quantities

The food at Govindas never fails. Quick, tasty and incredibly good value. I always order a small plate which they fill with very generous portions. Great selection of dishes each time. Would highly recommend the paneer and potatoes. Staff always friendly and helpful. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Dublin!

If you’re looking for the kind of a place that only the few chosen ones know about, the place that is tucked in between screaming shops on a major street with only a discreet little sign announcing its existence, this is the place for you. It’s not a restaurant in the fancy, wallet-crying sense; the interior is humble and kind of canteen style. But the food, served also in a canteen sort of way, is like a balm on the soul. The people are kind and patient, the portions are big and reasonably priced, and every bite you take erases another unlucky stumble in your day. Vegetarian, charismatic, calming, and delicious, Govinda’s is definitely something I recommend.

We got two vegan plates. Very generous portions. Really great flavor.
