Everything was excellent—the food, the spacious , the reasonable prices, and the convenient location. The dishes were flavorful, and even the small plate I ordered was surprisingly generous, offering more than enough for a satisfying lunch. While my experience was largely positive, I would have given a five-star rating if the atmosphere and overall vibe had been more lively.

I was craving something south indian and healthy after too many meat-filled days in Ireland and this was perfect. Reminded me of home. Butter beans were particularly good. I nearly cried whilst eating.

Jaipur

24/04/2025: When we moved to Dalkey, we tried Jaipur within a week or two and have been eating from there regularly ever since, simply fantastic and will not be rivaled.

Pickle

12/05/2025: Left feeling a little underwhelmed after dining at Pickle based on the raving reviews, awards and wait to get a reservation. Food was good but nothing super memorable. The butter chicken was dry and lacked some flavour, ive had better from indian takeaways for half the price. Rice and naans were under average, not to mention portions were tiny. There were no poppadoms included which is sad (don’t even think they had any on the menu) The Korma and Lamb shank were very good as was the chicken wing starter. Staff were pleasant although there was a sense we were being rushed the whole time. For spending over €50 pp you’d expect to be able to take your time a bit.. Overall it was a decent restaurant but i would likely not return. There are other Indian restaurants in dublin that are better and cheaper
04/05/2025: A cut above the rest. I've been in pursuit of the perfect Indian restaurant for years and finally found it in Pickle. Situated in the bustling Camden area of Dublin, the restaurant itself feels like an oasis of calm. Tastefully decorated but retaining an understated ambience that makes you feel at ease. This is a place you take your significant other for a treat or that first date you want to impress. We ordered the poppadoms for starters which are always a good litmus test for the mains to follow. The mango and pickle chutneys were rich and fresh and complemented the crispy and generous poppadoms perfectly. But it really was the Chicken Korma and Lamb dishes that amazed us with the diversity of flavours and succulence of the meat. To top it all off the service was nothing short of exemplary. Couldn't recommend it more.
