No word of a lie ..Hidden Gem lads & lassies ..right across the road from Connelly Station we arrived..greeted by the lovely Al . .Coffee or lunch Sir?....What a wonderful experience in this well run establishment....We both went for the Half Chicken dish on a bed of mash & gravy and it was so good...thanks lads & lassies...set me up for the day ...We' ll be back most definitely👍

Top food n pints again. Only professional barman I’ve met in 18-20 years. James is fantastic. The breakfast is super before 12:00. And the bangers n mash after is sublime Yum. Nice pub. €17.90 main menu.

We loved everything! The food, the welcoming staff and the whole vibe of this place is simply terrific to look at. The chicken wings and the burger is delicious. The staff was always so attentive and made us feel like home with small jokes and a catchy smile. Totally recommend

22/02/2024: Secret shopper, here at 14.55 on Thurs 22 Feb. Lovely experience upon entering as chef very friendly. However upon telling waitress I did not wish to pay for the extra for the double portion I received but didn't ask for, her tone dropped and she became very unfriendly, with no more Ps or Qs, and a flippant arm pointing to where to find everything. Shame as all other staff members are really nice here as is the food. Overall not a pleasant experience and will not come back.

16/03/2024: The drinks were really good, but the service was not. We waited 20 minutes before anyone came over and finally went to the bar to order and the bartender said someone would come but we then waited again.
10/03/2024: There was an initial mix up about our booking, but Stephen went out of his way to fix it and ensure that we had a lovely time celebrating my 50th birthday. The waiting staff were so attentive and helpful providing extra little touches like candles in my dessert that made the day special. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, though I was quite surprised that it was so empty when we arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday. It didn't start to fill up and have a nice buzz until well after 1pm. The food was delicious and beautifully served. I would definitely recommend this restaurant - an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of temple bar.
