Great National Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh

Visited for a conference midweek. A nice hotel which appeared to be really busy on the day with plenty of locals and people attending for conferences and training. The food was really good and fairly priced. Plenty of staff on hand to keep things running smoothly. I didn't stay over so cannot comment on the rooms.

Stayed here for two days and have stayed before. Comfortable hotel with a nice atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable, dining was good, and the staff were friendly throughout. Free parking was a big plus. Overall a very pleasant stay and I’d be happy to return.

I attended a wonderful event at the Abbey Court this Saturday. The staff were amazing--very attentive but not intrusive. The food and wine were exceptional, and every detail was thoughtfully curated. The room itself was the perfect size for an intimate gathering. I would highly recommend the hotel for an event.

I have not stayed in this hotel but go there very often, I have to say staff are absolutely fantastic and as for the manager I don't know his name but is the nicest person we have met in a long time couldn't do enough for you and treats you like a queen, I would highly recommend this hotel, food is beautiful and sunday lunch exceptional.

Was there recently for a short 2 hour conference which was starting at 6. Tea coffee was due at 5.30. Did not arrive until 5.55.

Food is good and staff friendly

Lovely hotel, was there for drinks and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Declan couldn’t have been more accommodating!

I brought my mother in for food recently and we had a great evening. Feather blade of beef was one of the best meals I’ve had in such a long time. Fantastic Trad music played after dinner. Great attentive floor staff and the floor manager, Declan, was walking the floor and stopped to check on us twice and had a quick chat about local beer made in the Templemore brewery when I questioned him about what was on draught. A nice touch. Angela and Dan are a credit to the team. Really enjoyed our evening.

Excellent coffee served in the foyer, also carvery lunches are available in the restaurant. We chose the fish and chips option from the a la carte and they were excellent !!! Really tops! Fresh fish and a lovely crispy batter! Served with fries, peas and tartare sauce! Highly recommended!

Recently had a baby shower in the garden room absolutely fabulous 👌 staff were so accommodating and friendly would definitely recommend the garden room for an intimate event 10 out of 10
