Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran

Fabulous dinner and the breakfast was amazing!!

We arrived as part of a group on a Sunday afternoon, was looking forward to a cuppa and a sandwich to be told no sandwiches after 3 pm. (It was 3.20 pm) Ordered soup and a pot of tea, soup arrived but no tea, very disorganized bar area and service very slow. Evening menu was set and very limited and unimaginative. The trip was saved by the location which is stunning, and the weather was glorious.

Great location nice food good staff there is a great view of the beach and there is a fun fair right beside it (it is so good I'm currently typing in the hotel) and also very cosy

Beautiful location. Amazing cliff walks. Great golf course. Ample free parking. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable, clean, compact rooms. Nicely fitted shower rooms. Wonderful live music events. Reasonably priced accommodation for B&B. Bar drinks a little pricey, and plastic glasses for music events in conference centre. Two issues that need attention. 1. Showers were way too hot, almost scalding, and could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. 2. No bar food available at night. Residents were bringing pizza, chips and take-outs into bar. Seems like a missed business opportunity, which would be popular with residents. In summary a very enjoyable stay. I would return.
