Excellent food and, of course, wine. Staff were very accommodating and sweet. They fit us in on my birthday. Will be back!

Lovely evening here recently. A small but imaginative menu- tried pretty much all of the hot dishes and they were all excellent, particularly the hake and the purple sprouted broccoli. Fabulous selection of wines and friendly, knowledgeable staff who are happy to help. I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful place. Lovely cosy shop and restaurant. Staff have always been polite and the upmost professionals whenever I have gone in. From a bottle of wine to drink at home to the perfect bottle as a gift for a special occasion, they have never gone wrong with their advice to me.

The Long Hall

17/06/2026: Busy pub but you'll always find a corner to occupy. No live music, no TV. Just conversation, good service & drinks aplenty. Friendly bar staff & waiting staff.
16/06/2026: Friendly and welcoming even by Irish pub standards. A beautiful historic pub and a lovely place to spend a few hours. Tried their own brewery's Nitro Red Ale and their stout. Both were really good. Obviously a tourist destination but doesn't feel overly touristy. Well worth a visit.

05/05/2026: Great location and service. Very accommodating to a toddler and her parents. The bread pudding is out of this world. The owner was on site and saw to it that everything was running smoothly.
01/05/2026: Well, guys been going into this restaurant since 1976.So what does that tell you,awesome.So a shout out to all the staff past and present. Hey guys, if you're having a 50th anniversary, don't forget to let us know.Because i've been going in there since nineteen seventy six that means going there fifty years. So,since I was thirteen oh my god , I m getting old,lol.
