Kingfisher in Dublin

Our experience was fantastic. Gillian, Malcolm and their staff were attentive and welcoming - we could not have asked for a more comfy place to spend our nights in Dublin.

Went there with wife and both of us loved. We got the chowder, fish & chips and a special chicken pie. The chowder was lovely, so flavourful and creamy. The pie really surprised us, both for quality and quantity. And the fish was the star, the batter was so light but yet crunchy. And the piece was so big that we couldnt finish it.

We went there for their fish & chips, which is claimed to be the best in Dublin, and it was indeed excellent: top-quality ingredients and well-cooked, even the potatoes were delicious. The price was reasonable, the service excellent; they let us sit on the veranda until the tables inside became available, offering to bring us drinks in the meantime. I would have liked a curry sauce like the English do, but after all, we were in Ireland, where they use tartar sauce.

Check-in went perfectly. The staff at the restaurant next door took care of us immediately when our key wasn't yet in the lockbox outside. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The shower was spotless and the water temperature was perfect. The tram outside was a bit annoying, but they provided earplugs 😉. We are in a big city, after all. I would definitely come back.

Very clean and quiet accommodation. Quality bedding. Clear instructions for collecting and returning the keys. A 15-minute walk from Temple Bar – a good base for those who don't mind walking. The only downside is that the accommodation is advertised for 3 people, but only 2 chairs are provided...

Excellent location, it's a shame we didn't get to meet the receptionists. 100% recommended.

Great Airbnb/Townhouse in Dublin! Really Central to everything going on. Rooms were lovely and clean and the hosts were always very responsive. It was a pity we didn't get the chance to try their restaurant( It was closed for a short time-which we were notified of)

Thursday 26th March 2026. Had lunch here today with my son. We both had Fresh salmon, mashed spuds, roasted veg with capers and a lovely white sauce. Luca and another lovely waitress served us. After waiting for a while, we did'nt mind waiting, as we have eaten here many times over the yrs, and knew it was going to be good. The food was amazing, freshly cooked, nice and hot. He had a couple glasses milk, I had a drink. It really is worth the price. We enjoyed the food and the staff were so nice. 10 outta 10.
