Grían Cafe in Dublin

Had lunch here around 1pm, it wasn’t busy and Rohid looked after us very well. The toasted 8 euro cheese & ham sandwiches were freshly made and were delicious, I should have asked for a bit of mayonnaise but didn’t bother. People who came in seemed to be known and it seemed v friendly and local. Got 2 cakes to go which were particularly nice, the carrot cake portion was huge but it didn’t stop us eating it, the Bakewell was the best I’ve eaten in a long time. Seating inside and outside. I will be back. It’s was under 12 euro pp

great independent coffee shop amazing decaf coffee and nice staff , delighted to find good coffee in this area after visiting an O'Briens around the corner that didn't even have decaf after i waited in line for 10 minutes

I go there all the time lovely coffee & great selection of cakes & sandwiches first class friendly service by 3 of the nicest guys you could meet make sure you pay a visit soon you wont regret it i promise you

It's pretty rare that cafes are open till 5 in Dublin. I needed to wait 45 mins for something and popped in here hoping for a decent coffee and a passable pastry. I got a great coffee, a lovely sandwich and nice place to sit. 5 stars.

Always made to feel welcome when I go to Grían. Fiona & Jason are excellent baristas with very strong customer service skills - always going above and beyond to make their customers feel special. Given the amount of competition around Kimmage it's impressive to see how busy Grían is no matter the weather or day of week. Personally I think this comes down to the staff (especially Fiona/Jason) - the owner should wrap them up in cotton wool. Always my go to for coffee in Kimmage Keep up the great service guys

Staff member smoked and handled coffee cups at tip on more than one occasion where that person did not wash their hands after the cigarette. Coffee is nice but hot chocolate not good. Kids won’t drink it. In laws there said never again and also used to meet friends there who said the same. No owner there to talk to on any occasion
