The food at this pub is exceptionally good! We had the pan-fried sea bass fillet. Crispy skin and very flavorful with Asian spices, but not overly spicy, served with stir-fried vegetables and a delicious homemade chutney. And the staff, like almost everywhere in Ireland, are very friendly and efficient. I would easily make a detour for this pub.

A place we stumbled upon by chance and highly recommend. Excellent food, from the macaroni to the carbonara with bacon, the lamb, and the fish—everything delicious. A pleasant surprise.
This gorgeous little gem, situated in a building that was once a bakery in the 1700’s, is an excellent little pub! Very busy and full of locals, always a good sign! All the food was fabulous, the service and ambiance the same! Definitely make a point to stop in here if you’re passing through.

We visited this very well run pub for my mother-in-laws birthday. Excellent food and service at affordable prices. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food! I often struggle to find good vegetarian options in pub restaurants in Ireland—most places only offer a pricey, underwhelming salad. But I was pleasantly surprised when I tried the vegan parcel from Groans. It was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious—the best meal I’ve ever had from a pub! I’ll definitely be coming back.
My friends ordered the beef burger, which was unique and creative, using potatoes instead of buns. They loved it too! Highly recommend this place for both vegetarians and meat lovers.
