Because we were invited out for my nieces Birthday didn't want make fuss Our dinner orders were mixed up plus when our veg arrived but was cold. Sent it back but it never re appeared so got no veg . We were disappointed overall. and didn't like room opposite bar it has no atmosphere and smells damp .

The food was very tasty. Girls serving were pleasant. Older lady with glasses behind the bar was very ignorant and rude. Never asked if all was OK had we enjoyed it. Nothing. She literally snatched the money out of our hands. It's a shame because food is good

Visited here today and found this to be a great cosy spot with nice attentive staff and really lovely food. The young guy behind the bar has a really lovely way with people and has a good awareness of everything going on. The tall waitress with the blonde hair who was serving us was also really lovely. I had the beef while partner had the hake which were both delicious. The cheesecake on the menu today was divine, best I've had in years. Would definitely recommend and will be back again

30/06/2024: Yet again another lovely meal here. Only had started and chips this time but the mushroom and bacon salad was absolutely gorgeous. Would actually have eaten a bit more though. Prices are fairly reasonable too.
10/06/2024: Stopped here for dinner in Glasson village...food area was busy and we didn't have a reservation...but we waited only 5 minutes for a clean table...staff are very courteous and took our order promptly ..got the soup, was delicious and came with a slice of Guinness bread and brown bread ...we asked about the Guinness bread and it is baked on site, so we ended up buying a loaf.... got the homemade burger with chips, onions, mushrooms, pepper sauce on a large potato croquette...was so delicious...my husband got the creamiest pint of Guinness...we were too full to eat dessert so cannot make comment..have since sent 10 other people over for dinner on our recommendation....will definitely be returning 😋
